would a judge let me off for killing him  ?                 this was a good  summation  of  holly’s  current  train  of  thought,                after  quin  had  misheard  her  asking  what  he  thought   of   her                friends and had gone on a lengthy rant about  how  he’d  more  or                less despised the teens. this had left holly  frowning  deeply  until                she snapped, sometime around him mocking aisha’s voice when                she’d gotten excited about some shirt she’d seen yesterday. 

               now she’d moved from her seated position on the furthest  end  of                the couch to crawling over to him, ending up on his  lap,  casually                shifting about to him to get comfortable, smiling sweetly at him as                she cooed.
