Feedback (Sweii) Why are they unproductive? Research Competitions. Compared to existing competitions, what makes this one different?

Issues This idea came from a personal issue regarding my father needs. He needed to go to United States without letting. Companies needs live updates. The ability to connect to their office while away. Suggested solutions are usually to leave someone else in charge or organize their task. In the end the solution is quite shaky and has to fully depend on a person that is present in the office. This raises questions like - How are we sure the person is doing their job? Where or how do they organize? Will these methods be more efficient?

Create I thought the best way to avoid inconvenience of changing between desktop and mobile is to simply create a responsive website. The website will contain a ‘to do’ list that can be separated by categories, live chat box and a simple and quick link to email and Dropbox in case there is a need to use them.

Competitions

Trello - Has a ‘to do’ list separable with personal features of progress and who is doing it. While Taskworld - Has more than what currently I can provide. They have visual task boards, project timeline or calendar, communication method such as direct messages, public and private channels. The only upper hand I have is that I do not charge fees as they charge 15$ per user per month.

Target Audience Companies

Core Experience ‘To do’ list and live chats are usually different places or platforms. The aim is to have one live update space and avoid messiness. A simple understandable ‘to do’ list page and a chat box so workers get to travel carefree and stay connected with the company and workers. Organised and instant.

Before the first meeting, we were asked to come up with 3 ideas for our final project. To help us start off, our lecturer provided us with several questions but not limited to it. I have separated my answers according to numbers like idea (1), (2) and (3).

What is the issue / concept / problem you want to address? (1) Company needs live updates. The ability to connect (office-outside) while away. (2) Lack knowledge on how to take care of exotic pets. (3) Florist are only popular during special days like Valentines / anniversary. People get flowers base on their receiving interest or how pretty it looks.

What do you want to create? (what is it? The kind of things it will be. The genre) (1) Responsive Website : Company website that has ‘to do’ list and a chat box. Examples are wunderlist and trello. (2) Desktop Website : Informative web and a forum / live chat box within selected category of their exotic pet. (3) Desktop Website : Online store and informative (A website that provides flower meanings that are more meaningful).

Who is it for? (who will needs it? / Who will experience / use it?) (1) Companies. (2) Pet owners. (3) Florist buyers? People who can’t decide.

What is the key unique idea / What is the core experience? (In another word, it also means how is it different from other similar artefact?) (1) Often to do list and live chats are different places. The goal for this is for it to have live updates. (2) One stop site for pet owners / new pet owners to communicate with one another and gain knowledge. (3) Rather than just selling flowers, they come with more meaningful values behind them.

Why do you want to make it? (What are you trying to achieve by doing this?) (1) How to travel carefree and stay connected with the company / workers. Organize and instant. (2) New pet owners need a place to find out more about their pets (How to care, What shelter they need, What they cannot eat, etc.) It helps prevent pet owners from making mistakes that may cost their pet’s lives. (3) To boost florist’s sales on days out of Valentines and anniversaries / gain people’s interest about flowers.
