â mmmh ⌠â the two of them hadnât had much time to just sit back and spend an evening together lately. lafayetteâs been caught up in their studies and work, and hercules pretty much disappeared beneath the fabric heâs currently using to work on a bigger piece ⌠it happens sometimes, but theyâre always bound to start sticking around each other again, sooner or later. as hercules asks, they canât help but take a critical look at their nails. geez, they really havenât done a proper pedicure in a while.
â oui. of course. let me just finish my sentence. â hercules might look a bit intimidating at first, but youâd be surprised at the amount of care he puts into his friendships. this isnât the first time heâs offered to paint their nails so they already know that his large hands are extremely gently and careful when at work ââ itâs nice to be given so much attention, especially since he asked them, not the other way around.
with a soft hum beneath their breath, they finish typing out what theyâve started. itâs an article for a magazine, but it can wait a little longer. both of them deserve a break after the last few days. as they get up, they instantly latch onto their friendâs elbow, a bright smile on their lips. â want me to take care of your âair in return? i could put a moisturizer in it ⌠do we still âave coconut oil left? â
"We might have a bit left in the upstair bathroom, but I'm not sure about the downstairs one, you'd have to check."
Hercules replied, folding up his fabric before giving his sketchbook one last look over. A few designs of clothing laid displayed on the sheets, sighing softly. So much work to be done, that his portfolio needed to be filled by the time of next month which meant about a few twenty or so outfits to show.
Hercules looked back toward Lafayette who had clung to his arm, giving a gentle smile. Lafayette was a weird one, but Hercules never seemed to mind their company. He fixed himself on the chair before pointing across the other side of the table.
"But you'll need to pull up a chair so I can work on your hands. Kind of hard to do it with you standing up like that, Laffy."
He snickered, detaching himself from Lafayette and going under his work table to grab a box from underneath. He opened it up and showed a few materials needed to start the pedicure off right all from nail clippers, nail polish, and lotions.
