Ranty, rant...
I'm reading the news this morning as the first waves of Hurricane Irma thrash through the Caribbean. Just hoping everyone there is safe. My thoughts are with those in Puerto Rico and Florida and anywhere else in the path of this massive storm so soon after the destruction in Texas. As I watch the hurricanes ravage the south, and see the news of devastating floods overseas. Here in BC, and all the way down the west coast to LA, we have barely breathable air and forests that are burning. People are losing their homes and animals are losing their habitats from the driest summer and worst fire season we've seen in decades. We would give anything for some rain which we haven't seen since June. I don't understand how so many in positions of power can deny global warning. Get your heads out of your asses and help the rest of us who are actually trying to make a difference before it's too late...if it's not already.
