#bcc 2015

My boyfriend Jon and I dressed as The Doctor and Rose Tyler headed to BCC a little after 11 Saturday morning and my heart was already racing. I WAS GOING TO MEET BILLIE PIPER! I was in the car going to the same area as her, same building! It didn't help that it was bazillion degrees out and I was going to be in a leather jacket all day xD Thank god for AC! We arrived without difficulty and parked right across the street. We went up to the street and this family stopped us to ask for a picture. The little boy went on how Rose is his favorite companion and he loved our costumes. <3 He was so adorable!! 

We made our way across the street and took us a little bit to find the right entrance. Haha I think we walked by the people sitting outside like 4 times. XD I was already sweating buckets! Once we got into the main area we thought it best to hit the photo op place to make sure our time on our ticket hadn't changed. Once we confirmed our times we went back to the autograph tables. We asked the nice people working how it worked and they explained we stand in line and pay at the table. One guy did a double take at us and said “omgosh it's mini rose and a tall doctor!” haha <3 thank yooouu~ xD

We got in line and talked with some people around us while we waited. Met a lovely Rogue cosplayer (JMO Cosplays) and her boyfriend. THANK YOU FOR CALMING MY NERVES. I'm glad I wasn't the only one flipping. xD They were even nice enough to hold our stuff when we got asked for a few pictures! <3

So we waited about 10 minutes and then she came out to the table! OMG I'm short so I couldn't see but Jon was able to snap a few pictures before they told us we couldn't. ^^; 

The line seemed to move so sloooowww. About half way up I was able to get a quick glimpses of her looking down and omg my heart nearly stopped. It became so real in that second. Jon relayed to me how she kept her attention to whoever was getting the autograph. She didn't look out to the line but kept eye contact with the person in front of her. Aaahh it just made me love her even more! <33 Giving all her attention to that one person, she must know how much it means to everyone. I had printed two copies of my Woman Wept painting. One for her to sign and one for her to keep, with a little note on the back thanking her for being so inspiring and wonderful. I had run the scenario out in my mind so many times and I was now blanking on what I was going to say! o__o; I really have to thank my boyfriend here who kept talking with me and calming me. <3 We got to the front of the line and my heart was beating so fast I had trouble swallowing. Oh crap I was next! I WAS NEXT AND I WAS ABOUT TO MEET BILLIE PIPER!

I glanced to my right and saw the girl who was in charge of telling people when to go to the table and when to stop. She kept looking at me and smiled.

“Wow your hair looks really soft.” she said. I looked at her a bit confused before smiling a huge grin. T-thank you?? haha Jon just laughed because he's constantly touching my hair. “Seee! I told you.” ;] he said. I looked at the girl and for some unknown reason told her she could touch it if she wanted to. My brain wasn't thinking straight. Pfft! She hesitantly did and we all laughed. I have to thank this girl for helping my heart stop pounding out of my chest and distracting me a little bit.

Next thing I know, I'm at the table, I gave another girl my print with my name on a sticky note so she knows how to spell it. I asked if Billie's allowed to receive gifts. They said of course! I look to my left and omgosh she's so close. SHE'S RIGHT THERE! o____o The person in front of us left and I walked up in front of Billie and smiled. “Hello!” she said. I gave her my print and said I'd like for you to sign this but I printed two so you could have one too. “Oh, wow!” She said. “Thank you!” Oh man, I was hanging onto every word. Her accent was beautiful, her hair was beautiful. SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL! *0* I then was like oh yes! I should explain what it is, she probably doesn't remember! I told her it's of Woman Wept, the planet that froze in a second. She smiled and said she knew what it was! OMG my heart leaped! I told her I wrote a quote on the back in case she didn't remember. She then flipped it over and took her time reading the quote and my little note. She smiled again and made a few endearing noises. <3 She said she remembers filming that day clearly because it was so cold and she had trouble remembering her lines! Haha she thought it was fitting for the painting xD bless her! She then really looked at the painting and asked how it was done, all digital? I said yes, it was all painted on the computer. She was so amazed!! *^^* OMGOSH MY HEART WAS GOING TO BREAK INTO A MILLION PIECES OF HAPPY! She started to sign my print and wrote, Brittney, Beautiful, Thank you” then stopped and looked worried. “Oh no, I've messed it up! Where do you think I should sign my name?” She had got to the end of the painting. I told her not to worry about it! Anywhere was fine! :D I honestly didn't care! But omgosh she was so worried. She stared at the painting for a good 15 seconds trying to decide! She then decided to sign underneath and said I could get a special frame xD Haha She then went on how her brain was already fried and my heart went out to her. <3 I don't know how she can see so many people and still treat everyone with such respect and attention. I then got the feeling our time was up and she handed me my print. We said goodbye and moved along. I looked up at Jon and we had the biggest smiles in the world! Aaahhh I HAD JUST MET BILLIE PIPER. I GAVE HER MY PAINTING AND SHE LOVED IT AND SAID IT WAS BEAUTIFUL AND REMEMBERED WHERE IT WAS FROM. I HAD A CONVERSATION WITH HER AND WE LAUGHED AND OMG

The rouge cosplayer and her boyfriend were waiting for us outside the line and they asked how it went. OMG AMAZING!! We said our goodbyes and it was so nice to meet them! We made our way out of the autograph section. The guy standing at the entrance again looked at Jon and I, pointed and said we were the best! HAHA THANK YOU AGAIN! I then noticed the pen Billie signed in wasn't drying on my print! It was smudging! Oh no! We decided not to put it back in the cardboard box thing we brought to protect the prints.

I ran the scene in my head and realized Jon didn't say a word! I was like, you didn't say anything to Billie! He just smiled and said it was my moment and hugged me. <3 He just loved seeing me smile. OMG YOU'RE THE BEST LOVE. I said we can go again but we realized it'd be another $60 and we decided against it :x  

“Are you my mummy?” xD

We were making our way to the exit to go back to our car to drop off the print when Jon pointed, “Look! It's Tenth Doctor Matt!” ( tenth-doctor-matt ) omgosh guys if you don't know who this is, go follow him and watch his videos! He helped Jon and I tremendously with Jon's Doctor cosplay. <3 We had conversed a little bit on tumblr earlier and I hoped I would see him! I ran up to him and said “Hi! It's Blezon from tumblr!” He smiled and said oh yes! But I don't really think he remembered xD tehehe We then took a picture and conversed a little bit. Thanked him for his videos and helpful information! Also met his lovely fiance Ali <3 Another Doctor cosplay came up to us and asked for a picture, we decided to get out the 3d glasses and took a picture <3 Sooo fun! :D

Jon and I made it back to the car. I then had a mini spazz in the parking garage. I WAS STILL ON CLOUD NINE FROM MEETING BILLIE! Aaahhhhh

We then made our way back to the convention with a bunch of bananas in our bag as the photo op was next! When we got to the photo op line, IT WAS HUGE! But we saw so many amazing Rose cosplayers and took a few pictures and then found our way to the end of the line. Before we knew it, it was moving rather fast. So much faster than the autograph line! The people in front of us conversed about how they were going to pose, they had a few props. Such lovely people! Also talked about meeting John Barrowman and how thoughtful and amazing he was. <3

Then, this girl behind us, asked for our picture. She was so cute! “Of course!” we said, and we asked the guy in front of us to take our picture but then the line was moving again and the picture got deleted because she had no more storage! >.< I felt so bad! I was going to wait for the line to stop moving and ask if we could try again but then she said how about a selfie? “Yes, of course!” We were smiling and I could see she was shaking rather visibly and I just wanted to hug her. <3 “Here, let me help” I said and grabbed her phone. OMG IF YOU'RE READING THIS I HOPE THIS WAS OK, I DIDN'T MEAN TO JUST TAKE OVER haha, we were able to get a selfie and she thanked us profusely. <3 (later found her on twitter [@swancharmings] and tumblr [ peggyscarters ]. She was live tweeting our wait in line and omgosh it's the cutest and made me and my boyfriend laugh <3 thank you sweetie! Photo courtesy of her)

The line was constantly moving! I was amazed at how fast it was going. We were asked for a few more pictures and Jon and I discussed our pose with Billie. We decided to wear the 3d glasses and have her hold the bunch of bananas and look confused. ;] We wanted to be different and we love the banana quote,

“Always take a banana to a party, Rose. Bananas are good.”

We got to the big photo op room and waiting patiently. To keep our selves entertained we recited some of our favorite doctor x rose quotes. Pfft! We're such dorks. We honestly did try to keep up our accents but failed miserably. XD We saw some awesome cosplays too! One woman had a zipper on her forehead and I thought it was the coolest thing!

We talked with the sweet girl behind us again and she said this was her second picture with Billie! Omgosh so jealous! Haha she didn't know which day she'd be coming so she got both photo ops xD

We were getting close to the tent where Billie was and my heart started to race again. We took out our bunch of bananas and our 3d glasses and put our bag on the table they had outside the tent. We then got to stand inside the little tent area and everything was going so fast. People only had about 15-20 seconds for the picture. 0.0 We asked the girl standing there if she'd hold bananas and she laughed and said “Oh, she'll hold them” Haha “you can't ever eat them afterwards though” ;] Bwaha! So trruuuee  omg WE WERE NEXT!

The girl said go ahead and I went up to Billie, gave her a pair of 3d glasses and asked if she could hold these bananas and look confused. “That's easy” she said. “I'm already confused!” haha she held the bananas and Jon and I stood on either side of her. OMG I WAS TOUCHING HER BACK AND POSING WITH BILLIE PIPER And she was super tall! She had like 5 inch platforms on hahaha The flash went off and I took the bananas and glasses back from Billie and said thank you and bye! Everything went so fast, I wanted to talk with her a little bit and ask how she liked Boston but knew my turn was up. I don't even think we made eye contact, or maybe I was just super nervous and felt rushed to even look up @A@;; Aaah well xD We went out of the tent and got our bag.

The girl behind us came out and we asked how it went and she was all smiles and said “SHE HUGGED ME” omg I was so happy for her! Haha we went to pick up our photo and it's OMGOSH IT'S JUST TOO PERFECT FOR WORDS!! hahaha

She delivered the confused look so well! <3 PERFECT PICTURE IS PERFECT!! Bwahaha

We got a protective sleeve and then exited the room. We sat down for a minute to get situated. The sweet girl came up to us again and she showed us her picture, aahhh it was adorable! I was so jealous she got the hug Billie! XD

We showed her our picture and she thought it was amazing! Haha we said our goodbyes again and it was so lovely meeting her <3

A few of the cosplayers we wanted to get a picture of while we waited in line came out and we took some more pictures.

We then realized we were starving! Haha so we got some food at the food court and just ate with smiles plastered on our faces. After we were done, we could finally walk around and look at all the amazing art.

Was able to find NEN's nen-nen-nen table and she was so cool and lovely. <3 Also met Sara Richard (artofsararichard) and omgosh guys we talked for a good 20 minutes! Found out she used to be in a cosplay group Human Sushi Cosplay. I love all of their skits and looked up to them! It was so lovely meet her and discussing Doctor Who and our opinions on Moffat xD She had the coolest hair too! 

We walked around a bit more, had some more pictures taken and then I met up with a high school friend Kate who was dressed as Draco. XD We spazzed a little bit and she told us about Billie's panel that we sadly missed. Sounded so gooood! 

After that we ended up getting some t-shirts and an extra print. Some more people commented on our cosplay and said we were super cute! ⁄(⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄ THANK YOOOU!! Feeling rather tired and over heated we decided to head out. We headed back to the car, peeled off our jackets, literally! xD we were sweating like pigs haha and headed home.
