[STUMBLES] The sender briefly stumbles but quickly regains their footing. — gil to vincent ( @taiixuan )

the two of them were quietly walking, side by side, both having been exhausted for some time now. at the very least, they finally had some respite — a chance to finally breathe after constant tasks, missions and whatever else have you. vincent had been terribly fatigued, to no ones surprise. not only being a child of ill omen but also one who was narcoleptic, vincent struggled with his drowsiness and fatigue to the point of exhaustion moreso when he was so caught up in the workaholic mindset of the family and the duties which required his attention and assistance.

as a yawn was escaping him, he didn't fail to notice something from the corner of his eye — which immediately jolted him awake enough to find the blanket of sleepiness flee from his body.

❝ gil?! ❞ vincent immediately reached his arms out, gloved hands latching onto gilbert's frame. it may only have been a stumble, but perhaps gilbert was just as exhausted or distracted as vincent was. oh, how could he succumb to the dreary sleep when dear gilbert was under so much more pressure?

me: haha cool. cant wait for this cutscene.

*something clicks in my mind*

me: ..........wait. wait. why did he mention

me: dO I HAVE TO REMEMBER AND SELECT THE CORRECT LINES????? I DONT REMEMBER ANY OF THEM OH MY GOD I ONLY LOOKED AT THE PAPER ONCE

*frantically googling my lines as the selection timer ticks down*
