Star and Ssam of BBTrippin were guests on Waackxxxy's youtube channel to discuss the viral ‘BAD’ Choreography!
BBT have worked with ATEEZ so long, and have built up so much trust with the members, that they feel in sync when it comes to knowing which part will suit each member: "We just immediately see it, like, 'oh, he will crush this certain part.'"
Here's how they describe the performance style of each member:
Hongjoong: He pulls of playful, mischievous expressions incredibly well. His face gives off so much flavor. When he puts on a show, he has a playful way of hooking the audience immediately.
Seonghwa: Delivers an incredibly high-octane performance. If you look at his movements in BAD, you see him going into beast mode. He's pure energy. Out of everyone, he picks their brains the most. During choreo sessions, he's always asking the directors how to optimize his moves. Detail-oriented and puts in crazy hours of solo practice.
Yunho: Yunho is the anchor as the main dancer. You can throw literally any vibe at him and he just executes flawlessly. He's basically an all-rounder ("a high-tech vending machine. You order it, out it comes").
Yeosang: A quick study who locks into details perfectly. He packs a serious punch on stage. When he unleashes all that power, his presence completely anchors the performance.
San: Honestly, the viral content speaks for itself. His eye contact alone just shuts down the whole room. San actually participates in the creative process all the time. He's incredibly passionate about making choreography. He genuinely loves dancing, and always puts in the work to perfect his craft.
Mingi: Just pure adorable. On camera, he spits those deep, bass-heavy rap verses with this ultra tough persona, right? But off stage, he's hands-down the biggest softie in the group. On stage, he flips the switch completely. A master of the stage who leaves his cute side behind the scenes.
Wooyoung: The true king of charm. The real twist, though, is that he loves rugged hobbies and has this solid, masculine side to him. But he's also incredibly sweet. Total five-tool player.
Jongho: Jongho anchors the team as the main vocal now, but back in their pre-debut days, he was actually in the main dancer line. The guy can seriously move. He has an incredible sense of texture and groove when he dances.
It's well worth a watch!
