This will be a looooooooong post.

Before I convey my opinion about this #MartialLaw #NeverAgain #LabanLeni #BBM4VP, I’d like to note two things first:

One. I don’t remember any of the lecture that talks about Martial Law from Elementary, High School and even College. Not that my schools don’t teach their students but I was never a person with a good memory. But I constantly watch TV so that is where I got most of my knowledge about ML. Watching the TV I was constantly reminded of how things were like back when Marcos was still alive aka “the darkest period in the history”.

Two: Another source of my knowledge is my family. My family has a very different story about ML and the Marcos Family and I heard this story over and over again. While eating dinner, while watching TV, randomly, at some point these story would come out. It is surprising how when I was in college, children of different household has the same story as ours.

I was greatly affected while reading the threads in twitter as well as in facebook. TBH I support BBM for VP. I voted for him. And hell I wouldn’t deny that I smell something fishy about LP (not Leni) and I can’t forget about how confident Leni is when she says “Mananalo tayo” during VP Debate. One of the thing that I red is that, people who voted for Marcos is stupid for ignoring all the facts about Martial Law. And since I voted for him, I’d like to use my blog to defend my reason for voting him.

Pres. Ferdinand Marcos

While the media portrayed Ferdinand Marcos as someone who violated the human rights in unimaginable degree, my family told me that he was a great man who fought against the Japanese soldier (which makes him a hero, therefore he should be buried in Libingan ng mga Bayani), that he even obtain the ever controversial Yamashita treasure, that during his term, Philippines was one of the richest country in Asia. How my parents, at that time would bring bags of fruits and vegetables from Quiapo because at that time everything is cheap, especially food. How almost all of the main facilities in this country was built during his era. Those were bedtime stories for me. And in our family, even in our distant relatives, I never heard any story saying, ‘Ah, yung uncle mo biktima ng Martial Law’, so to be honest, I sincerely support Marcos. Because instead of the media, I choose to believe my family. Though, I wouldn’t comment further on that since di pa naman ako tao noon. I’m just telling the stories I heard as I grow up (which is the basis of my opinion). So don’t send me articles like ‘What Millennials should know about Martial Law’. Trust me, I’ve seen it already. 

Martial Law 2016: Do you honestly believe that Martial Law will exist in 2016?

While reading the #NeverAgain threads in twitter, I can’t help but think what if internet already exist during Martial Law? Internet. One of the reason why the Martial Law you we’re so scared of will never happen today. Back then (even after Martial Law), when the only source of information is the media, people have no choice but to accept the information they receive. They can’t even ask for more evidence. But right now, people are more connected than ever. People can now obtain information by themselves. And you will laugh about this, but honestly, nowadays, I trust Internet more than the local media of the Philippines. I was never there, that’s true. I don’t know how much of a hell other people went through at that time. Aside from the victims, what bothers me is how only the negative sides of  the Marcos were fed to the public. It’s been decades. And like many people say, It’s been decades of freedom from ML, yet this country is at its worst state ever. How come that at the end of the day, it is still someone else’s fault. You can say that Pres. Marcos is the worst leader, but as a Millennials who has read and read information about ML (which is my only choice since I was never there), I might say that but I wouldn't deny the fact that he has a strong leadership and a God-given talent in developing a country up to its best potential. That he deserves to be respected. Kahit siya lang. I mean he made a huge impact to this country, I hope that someday he will receive acknowledgement from what he has done for this country.

One last question, are we really sure that it was him behind the Human Rights Violation? Have we ever heard of Propaganda?

Sen. Bongbong Marcos

My VP. The topmost reason why I voted for Marcos as VP is because it is clear to me that Mayor Duterte will win. And I know that he is a good leader. However I don’t think it would be very nice for him to handle diplomatic relationship with foreign countries. So here I am believing that Sen Bongbong Marcos would have a better edge in that since, well, he was widely know around the world for being the son of Pres. Marcos. I also have my opinion why I wouldn’t vote for Leni but I woudn’t say it out of respect, and because I want the same respect to be received by the person I chose.

I watched the debate and I heard all of them speak and most of the time, it is still Marcos that gives out the answers I would like to hear.

Another thing, I don’t really understand those people connecting him to ML. Of course he was connected. It was his father’s reign after all. But what makes us think that he will do the same. I’m sorry, but I don’t think Bongbong Marcos will ever be as good as his father, but he is definitely the best among his competitors. It is prejudicial to say that the son of a criminal will also be a criminal. Hello? It’s 2016! We can think better than that. The fact that some people are making Sandro, the grandson who at that time does not exist to apologize in behalf of everybody is just hell pathetic!

Note: If you think against me, don’t bother telling me your opinion. I didn’t write this for you to read. I just need to breath out my opinion. So yeah, I’m not asking for your opinion.

If they’re going to change the hash code they should inform the COMELEC and the parties about it. The change in code is so suspicious because they made the changes at midnight when people are sleeping and can’t even monitor the elections. They can’t rigged the presidential race because of the huge difference in votes so they execute the plan b. Come on LP. Only people with power can do this kind of thing.
