What exactly was going on while Nightmare was eating the apples? I mean, there's no way he mowed through all of them in a short amount of time, especially since there were like 999 of them or something-- it theoretically would've taken like at least an hour to eat them all.
Logically, there should've been plenty of time for the villagers to run away or kill him, and Dream definitely should've been able to stop him from eating too many. And no way would Dream be able to block the villagers from getting to him for that long.
So, then what were they all doing while he was chowing down on the fruit? Were they all just awkwardly standing there, watching? Playing games while waiting?
...Now all I can think about is the villagers playing poker or cards or something all around the tree like, "Yeah, we're just waiting for this dumbass kid we abused to finish eating some apples that are gonna corrupt him and make him go mad. Bro's legit taking forEVER though."
And then Dream's just standing by like; *surprised Pikachu face*, *Minecraft munching sounds as he eats the last golden apple*, *surprised Pikachu face again*.
I have a sudden, inexplicable urge to make an Undertale AU named either Tragedeightale or Oondahrteighll, where literally nothing has changed except that all of the Undertale characters' names have been r/tragedeigh-ified and they all hate it.

I just finally watched a video talking about Mouthwashing, and now I'm regretting it.
