first time you meet him, it’s a beautiful summer day. you’re at a store where you can find different kinds of plants. you’re standing in front of the cacti when someone comes standing next to you, you don’t look at their direction first. “*ahem* um, excuse me?” the person asks. you look up tho them. you see a cute guy, who’s about the same age as you. he asks you with a slight blush on his face if you could help him with choosing a gift for his sister who likes cacti. 

when he’s chosen and bought one, he thanks you and introduces himself as john watson. 

you go to a nearby café and buy a large cup of coffee. you’re looking for a place to sit but every table is full. after searching for a while, you find john sitting at one of the tables. "excuse me, hi again. do you mind if i sit here? everywhere else is full so-" you say and smile. "oh, of course! i’d love to have company. … oh god, don’t get me wrong" john answers and laughs. you talk and talk, give another cups of coffee and tea, and continue talking. you exchange numbers, and you go home with tons of butterflies in your stomach.

on your first date you go kayaking with him. john has never done it before, but you help him to get into his kayak and tech him how to row. you end up having a lot of fun and a small water fight.

summer turns into an autumn, green turns into orange and your relationship with john gets deeper. 

the first time he kisses you, it’s when you’re at your place. you didn’t want to go out for dinner, so you decided to just cook by yourselves. when you’ve finished eating, john pecks you on your cheeks as a thank you. when he’s leaving, he gives you a big hug, stares you into your eyes and kisses you. you both giggle a little.

plus : one of john’s favourite things about you is how you get all grumpy at him in the morning when he jokingly teases you.
