Hi, blog
It’s been a really long while since i’ve written something in here. Life has been such a wild rollercoaster ride ever since the year started. I don’t know what to expect from it anymore, and I think the only choice we only have right now is to live in the moment and keep ourselves sane and safe. Even if i’m struggling to land a job right now, i’m still thankful for having a home and being able to eat three times a day or more. We have to be grateful for the small things we have since there are people who have it worse.
Anyway, the past few months i’ve been collecting plants (see my collection here) and to see the plant family grow is just so satisfying and has been soooo relieving of stress for me. Aside from that i’ve started a business with my boyf --- we’re still struggling to get orders but that just means we have to work harder for us to be successful one day. I’m so excited because we’re also planning to sell painted pots and we’re going to DIY the pots we’re going to paint on, too (which is what i’m most excited about). So there’s that. If you want to check out our business click here.
Things will get better soon. We just need to keep surviving.
If anyone is still on here, hello! I hope you’re well and safe!
the way i see it the only people worth stanning in this house are dominique, mark, elena, kevin & christmas
I dont thik this veto game is well balanced

Me & Graphic Design
1. We'd love to get to know you better, in a paragraph, please tell us about yourself - professionally and personally.
I have started to take interest in art, particularly Graphic Design and Photography at an early age. Throughout the years i've taken inspiration for my personal growth as an artist from modern music. After finishing my Bachelor of Arts degree in Multimedia Arts, I pursued my career as an artist within the online advertising industry. Eventually I took it upon myself to venture out to further develop and grow as an individual and as an artist. The industries I was able to take on were Real Estate, Interior Design, and Institutional. While I didn't stray far away from Design, I was able to mature as well as I have hoped.
2. Why did you choose graphic design as a career, what have you done in graphic design, why do you love it so much?
When I started taking interest in graphic design, it never felt like a tedious task or something that was needed to be done. It felt very natural to me in ways that it was almost a therapeutic outlet for me while I was growing into it. Simultaneously, I was getting so much inspiration from the rise of Korean Pop Music at the time. With the two merging, it just became something I was happy to do at any given time.
3. What is your graphic design 'happy place' and why? What do you like working in and why?
I would say that my graphic design 'happy place' would be mixed media. To be specific, photo manipulation has become one of my distinct styles as an artist, I would say. Photoshop has been my best buddy all these years. I think without it, it truly would not be the same for me.
4. What upcoming design trends or development makes you most excited about growing in your chosen career and why?
Motion Graphics is getting really interesting to see and has been taking charge of a wide range of industries these days, I would love to get in on the trend. Learning new things along the way is a huge part of my growth (and for everybody, for that matter), and with new developments within the design industry, it just gets more and more exciting.
5. Apart from reading blogs and watching YouTube videos, what have you done in your spare time to advance your knowledge and experience in graphic design? Can you give examples of the work you've done in your spare time?
As of the moment, i'm currently managing a small business to hopefully sustain myself. It involves collaborative work, but it's definitely giving me the chance to develop my skills as well. Please see the following links for your reference: https://www.instagram.com/visualsthebrand/ https://www.facebook.com/visualsthebrand/
6. Within your folio, what work are you most proud of and why?
As cliché as it sounds, I am very proud of each and every work I have put into my portfolio. Each and every work included within the contents (even the portfolio itself), I have spent hard work on. Might I even say the proudest work I have done is my portfolio? Yes -- to put in the simplest terms.
I was so inspired when I answered this questionnaire; you can share or answer this yourself on your free time! It’s also a great way to self-reflect. Thoughts?
