As the summer heat finally begins to fade out, we’re sending Summer off with one last party at the beach; to soak up the final rays, and reminiscence that half of the year is already over!  

The Blackbird Brewery invites you all to come and join us on Monday 8/23 down at one of the many sandy, beach locations that surround the island for eats and drinks already paid for and provided by the tavern! Alongside just some good, summer meals, we’ll be hosting games upon the shore for entertainment, and of course, plenty of time for swimming! 

Something a little more gritty is shaking up Maelstrom this month, brought to us by our DJ HOOFBEATS. No fancy dancing shoes or attire required, let your hair down, wear your comfiest sneakers, and come to the dancefloor to experience a musical playlist we’ve yet to feature. But if you’re not one for mingling, our bar is there to keep you satisfied with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic mixes sure to awaken your senses as the beat shakes the walls.

Maelstrom Nightclub is a faction neutral club, so elixir’s of tongues are encouraged, and that also means no violence on the floor or our security will be forced to toss you out.

It’s that time of the month again where we throw away our worries and fill our heads with music and dance as Maelstrom Nightclub opens its doors. If you’re a fan of trance, or just a fan of dance, the nightclub welcomes you to come on in, grab a drink, and join others down on the floor to enjoy the night away in a neon wonderland.

It’s a new year, so along with it we bring a new wave of music to fill the ballroom and get you up for a night of dancing! We’ll be treated by our DJ Caythaes and their custom playlist, along with mixed drinks prepared just for the night; but don’t forget to take a water break before getting back out there to show off your new moves! 

December 20th at 7pm WRA server time, Rustberg Village is open to any and all, Horde or Alliance, for a night of giving. 

This year has been difficult for many, our own included, and we want to do something for you, the community, to brighten your Holiday as much as we can and offer you our gratitude for sticking with us through all the good and bad. Thus, we will have a great fest for all to take part in, to enjoy a community made meal, and make everyone feel warm and at home. 

We will have live music, photographs with greatfather winter, and much more; but our crown of the night will be our gift donations. We, and many other guilds and individuals have pitched in to offer an array of gifts from in-game items, mounts, pets, gold, to out of game items such as custom art, raid runs, graphic design, and many more to be given out to those attending the feast. Consider it a thank you from not only us, but others in the community who strive on everyone’s support and wish to give back for the Holiday. 

Hello to everyone from Blackbird Brewery! Holiday seasons are coming up, and we all know this year has been tremendously difficult for many, many people, and that this time of year may not be the same. People may not be able to spend time with their families, may be stuck at home, and may need a bit of distraction even if all we can offer is some time in World of Warcraft. 

We in the officer core have been deliberating, and have come out to ask YOU, the community, for help. In December, near the Holiday, we would love to gather as many people as possible to come together in-game, and just be able to celebrate together–which is where we’re asking other guilds to participate. Our goal is to gather the most gifts we possibly can–anything that people may be excited to receive, whether that be character art, mounts, in-game currency, raid runs, performances, absolutely anything you can think of to be able to give to the community and brighten the end of someone’s year.

Monday, October 26th the Blackbird Brewery opens their doors for a night of tricks and treats! To celebrate the Holiday we’ll be having not only a special, spooky menu, but a few games to participate in and potentially go home with some prizes! 

We’ll be having Apple Bobbing, and if you manage to grab an apple, you’ll get a stuffed plush or figurine to take home with you! (OOCLY we’ll be giving out battle pets!), and, if you come in a costume for the season you may end up going home with a portrait of yourself donned in your Hallow’s End best! (Best costume will have their character drawn by our very own Caleigh!)

With that said, we’ll be open from 6:30pm until 8:30pm WRA, and we are located out in Rustberg Village, Tol Barad, where we host a faction neutral establishment so be sure to bring your elixir of tongues! 

The Blackbird Brewery will not be having it’s tavern doors open upon their usual schedule, but instead will be opening up the ballroom for a night of fancy dressing, mingling, and an art auction to showcase artist talent within our ranks and to gather donations to further support future events and our staff. 

On Monday, July 27th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm (WRA server) the ballroom will be open! Our artists will be present during the event for approach and conversation about their pieces, and a silent auction will be held throughout the night for those who wish to participate and bid upon their chosen artist. A custom piece like the examples above will be on auction, and thus it is for in-game gold as the gold is then used to pay our staff and fund our events, as well as being split with the artist themselves. 

For those who may not wish to partake in the auction, and as well as those who do, we encourage formal dress for this event, and we will have the floor open for dancing and company throughout the night.
