I wonder what kind of surnames would arise in the omegaverse, if there would be functional surnames at all. Like does a pack share a surname? What would legally be constituted as a pack? Lots of folks live together nowadays without being registered as married or whatnot. Would surnames only be used to denote lineage in a world where pack fusion and fission is fluid?
