Baz’a doesn’t know who her father is, but her mother is... a disappointment. She continued making horrible decisions...she eventually developed a horrible spice habit and eventually went missing. No one really knows what happened to her, but before any of that downward spiral began, Baz’a was taken in by her mother’s big sister; now her home was with her Aunt Zend’aya and Uncle Beto’li. She was like a daughter to them, and while the tiny family wasn’t rich Baz’a didn’t suffer or go hungry. She was even excited when her cousin Zenj’amin was born, acting as a rowdy big sister... up until the point where he began exhibit Force abilities. At first, that was awesome. Her baby cousin had superpowers! But then the Jedi came for him and took him away and her Aunt and Uncle were sad even though they never talked about it. This resulted in a distinct hatred for organized dogmatic institutions that carried over into Baz'a's teen and adult life.

......... Baz’a doesn’t like trusting people... There are a few safe bets here and there, sure, but... for the most part... She feels like she’s on her own. Nevertheless, even with all the failings of the Republic, she’s incapable of supporting the Empire. According to Baz’a, they have NO sense of humor (or style).

Baz’a wants 2 things: reputation and money. She wants them both and she wants them because she feels like that’s the safest way to attain any form of security. In her early days, the chase and the wild rides were fun... but now, she’s really tired of looking over her shoulder. She just wants the ability to live her life the way she wants (under the radar) without risking herself...or the pesky band of misfits that’ve (for some reason) flocked to her. It’s not like she cares about them or anything...it’d just be a pain if anything happened to them...

Baz’a was taken from her mother (Bav’ala) before she was able to walk. She was raised by her Aunt Zand’aya and Uncle Beto’li. Her cousin Zenj’amin is part of the Jedi order now; a consular. But she has only minimal contact with her Aunt and Uncle now, and she hasn’t seen Zenj’a since the Jedi took him. She does adore Risha, Bowdaar, and Corso (all for very different reasons).

Aside from the crew, Baz’a considers Ula to be a damn good ally. She sometimes feels guilty about it, because even if the trooper is exhausted, she’ll still have your back. She’s ...kind of friends with Lin? Kind of... she would count her as an ally, but she still isn’t sure if she trusts her yet. That whole Sith thing can be quite the deterrent.

Baz’a haaaates a smuggler by the name of Mal-Duro Vey. In fact, he might be the reason she has trust issues (he totally is). The two of them were living the life, enjoying a great romance, or so she thought...then he stole her ship and abandoned her on Coruscant... She got her ship back eventually, but she’ll never trust him again.

Doesn’t have the Force.... and I mean, if she has a code it’s “don’t be ‘this fuckin guy’”. Don’t take advantage of people down on their luck; don’t go after kids; don’t fuck around with families that are just trying to make it. Don’t...just don’t be an asshole, ok? But if you come across someone being an asshole, if you find that fuckin’ guy... shoot him in the kneecaps <..<
