🎨✨ when we asked Janina Larenas aka @littleisobel what has been their proudest moment as an artist/creative, Janina said "I founded a national printmaking movement called Print Organize Protest (@print.organize.protest) back in November. Best weekend by far. It's cool seeing other motivated people doing what they love and Being able to see other people's passion. Honestly, I got out of my social bubble those two days, which is a huge step for me considering I have social anxiety, but man oh man, did these two events open my eyes. We're all here for a reason and we have to support each other in pursuing our dreams! Don't let fear stop you from what can potentially be the best experience of your life. BayCreatives Feature 🔹 Way Less Effort (@waylesseffort) is a record label started by Chuck Allen (@carlo___colucci) Tucker Bryant (@iamtucks), Kareem Alston (@k_re3m). It is inspired by the golden era 90’s hip hop vibe as well as Berlin's hardcore club scene and finds ways to incorporate multiple types of music “We don’t want to limit ourselves to having a certain audio aesthetic.” Focused on authenticity, WLE aims to “bridge the gap between DIY art and corporate driven art,” serving as a platform to introduce people to new music. “We wanna be throwing dope events where people know the vibes are gonna be real, where they know they may hear something they’ve never heard before.” Currently, WLE is hosting shows all over the Bay Area in various venues from concrete bunkers at the Marin Headlands to caves at Sutro Baths. In the future, they plan on having a warehouse/creator studio where they’ll be able to throw events and more. Ultimately they hope the Way Less Effort model becomes a blueprint for how the music industry works and how art gets noticed. “Instead of being about major labels, it should be more about cultural movements.
