Festa Danzante x ZacBAUM @ Centro Zaccarelli
Sabato 17 ottobre saremo a fare un dj set al Centro d’accoglienza Zaccarelli, in via del Lazzaretto, che ospita richiedenti asilo provenienti da Mali, Nigeria, Pakistan e Senegal. Le canzoni le abbiamo scelte insieme a loro, gli insegnanti e gli operatori, grazie a un paio di workshop fatti con snark. Questa estate abbiamo saputo dai ragazzi di Map che avrebbero organizzato quello che poi è diventato Baum Bonsai, un festival inclusivo per la Bolognina e il Navile. Gli abbiamo raccontato di Festa Danzante, questa idea di festa per tutti, come occasione di incontro, danze e divertimento. Siamo arrivati qui. Zaccarelli Republic è un mixtape fatto soprattutto con i pezzi che loro ballano a Karachi, Lagos, Bamako e Dakar. Vi aspettiamo sabato.

My country is the Republic of Refugee.”' -------------------- On Saturday 17th october we will dj at the Zaccarelli Refugees Shelter here in Bologna, that hosts asylum seekers from Senegal, Mali, Pakistan and Nigeria. We've choosen the songs along with them, their italian language teachers and the operators, during two workshops set up with snark. During the summer we learned from Map association's folks that they were going to organize what lately became Baum Bonsai, an inclusive festival for the Bolognina and Navile neighborhoods. We told them about the idea of Festa Danzante as a party for all, an opportunity for meeting strangers, dancing and fun. We arrived here. Zaccarelli Republic is a mixtape made mostly with the songs they dance with when in Karachi, Lagos, Bamako e Dakar. We wait for you to show up.
