The menorah above the fireplace glitters in the lowlight, accompanied by the crackle of kindling in the fireplace. The plush fur of the rug tickles Dick's skin when he shifts, cushioning him as he wriggles further under the blanket. He cosies up to Bruce, who shifts to hook his arm around Dick's shoulders.

"Are you cold?" Bruce asks into Dick's hair as the smaller man burrows into his collarbone.

"Not when I'm with you," Dick hums back, twining his ankles with Bruce's. He's warm everywhere his bare skin touches Bruce, the cold kept at bay by his lover. He could fall asleep like this, sated by the warmth and the light.
