The Gryffffoooonnnnnn.... Basically they were friendly rivals when they first met, competition being more playful and lighthearted than anything malicious. Though that really changed over time when their brawls and duels against eachother became more about winning and finding dominance as a superior. Esp with Byron "Stealing" his customers away from him, due to his more successful practices and charisma with being a salesman. It really took one incident where a truce was starting to be laid down slowly one by one. Brawl happened where Griff's mask ended up getting damaged to such a point where he forefeited. Later Byron ended up finding him in the medical center getting patched up for a head injury, which involved his actual indentity to be visiblle. Really helped Humanize the shopkeeper for Byron. It took a while for the schedule to get back "In order" before they were back at eachother's throats. Although there's a very very (Actually not so subtle) feeling of something more bubbling. He can't seem to forget his face, nor the man that prided himself as a "Successful entrepreneur". Talked to my friend ALOT about them, but in general a kinda way to describe their "Fate" is that. They were NOT supposed to be together, their fated strings that led them to the perfect partner did not cross paths or even lead to eachother.
They found themselves in the crossfire and decided to tie their strings together. Building their own path to see what happens. I fucking love old men yaoi.
