So, I essentially asked Ken on his Twitter how SEGA could potentially change Shade and her clan so that they wouldn't infringe on him. He didn't answer me specifically, but another artist took to doodling out what a revamped/unique Shade would look like, and while she was doing so, Ken said this: You're describing nano-technology. Try again. Keep in mind no tech whatsoever. I give you an A for effort, however. So, what I gleamed is, SEGA 'can't' do echindas that use technology according to him
Yeah, that kinda sucks, but I guess it's not too surprising. Echidnas using advanced sci-fi technology is a broad idea, but it's also one that was never part of Sega's canon. Sega echidnas have ancient fantasy stuff like Chaos Emerald power and Sky Sanctuary and all that, but nothing like Echidnaopolis or the Dark Legion's gear. The only game to have high-tech echidnas is the one inspired in part by Ken's stories
So, yeah, he originated that idea. Whether or not it should be considered vague enough to be used elsewhere is up for debate, but I can see how he'd think it would be enough for a claim
Hey, I'm playing Breath of the Wild right now, and I just learned that you are the guy who voiced Revali. May I say that I really like the Ritos in the game, and appreciated how Nintendo redesigned them to look like actual birds (I mean, Wind Waker's Ritos weren't all that bad, but I really prefer BotW). I really like Revali, and think he's pretty badass, even if he comes off as a bit of a jerk. However, I have to ask, do you feel like they should had done more with Teba?
On the one hand, I feel like Teba hit the sweetspot in terms of his involvement - just enough to give you a solid sense of his character, but not too much so as to hinder the player from concocting their own stories and ideas about him outside of the game’s explicitly-stated elements.
On the other hand, though, Teba is one of my pride-and-joys as a vocal performance artist, and I do wish there had been more examples to showcase him as a part of my range that most people don’t expect me to be capable of.
I agree with both of these simultaneously because even if I like Blitz more than I like Verosika, these two characters are both fucking terrible.

First off, wanna give a shout out to Stella Understander Anon. You truly get it, pal, and you are awesome. I saw yet another comment about how if Stella was a man, people would hate her... And that comment means absolutely nothing anymore, because Valentino, who abuses Angel, is stanned so much by both fans and the writers that he's literally being woobified. Like jesus fuck, Stella being a man would had make her/him a god amongst men in this fandom.
"If Stella was a man, people would hate her!" is one of the more hilarious, blinkers-on-eyes arguments these people try to make. If Stella was a man, she'd be the darling of the fandom and probably Viv's darling too.
The whole 'hate merch' thing is weird, right? It'd be one thing if it was unofficial merch made by actual haters and stuff, but this is actually official merch. Like, who is this for? I can't imagine Viv stans buying something hating on Viv, and why would the 'haters' buy something from the person they 'hate'? And on the new short, it was a huge nothingburger. In fact, it's pretty much a video of a guy getting off on being 'praised' without any of the actual explicit stuff and a P. Diddy reference as a payoff.
Right? Like, who is this for? Viv fans wouldn't wear it and people who genuinely hate Viv aren't going to give her money for it.
A few days ago, I saw a few tweets regarding Stella and the whole 'she SA'd' Stolas thing and I had come to a realization: Pretty much 90% of Stella's supposed villainy is 'implied': we never see her actually beat Stolas, we just assume she does because she tried to slap Stolas once. We never see her SA-ing Stolas, but we assume that Stolas was disassociating (despite no evidence saying for or against) and that one line that could just be her shit-talking Stoals. And that just irks me: so much hatred for this character is based off of headcanons and assumptions, not what she actually does in the show (which so far amounts to trash-talking him, trying to have him killed at two points, and stopping Octavia from talking to him once).
Hell, Blitzo been shown crying over Stolas's mistreatment of him, but the same has never once applied to Stolas and Stella. Stolas is only ever shown to be annoyed or angry with her, and the one time she sort of had him against the wall, it was because he'd just cheated on her in their bed and definitely didn't have the moral high ground.
