Listen. I know it's a pipe dream, and the movie already conspicuously mentions Alfred having a circus connection that can obviously be called on for Dick, but I think Jason would be the perfect Robin in the Battison-verse. That man NEEDS to laugh. Jason's post-Crisis origin has the aesthetic grittiness that I think would best fit with this movie's. But the fact that that aesthetic is matched with a theme of finding joy in the saddest place on the saddest night and unexpectedly laughing at the sheer absurdity of the Batmobile being boosted would be perfect for the theming of the film. And I think, with an important element in the first movie being tarnishing (I suppose) Bruce's parents, the direct parallel to him that is Dick's origin is less of a perfect fit. This should be about him moving into the city he lives in and the lives he can help and effect rather than being about his origin. Jason is Robin as Robin, right? He's not the parallel to Bruce that Dick is, and he's not Robin as a thing Batman needs to keep in check like Tim is. Jason is someone thoroughly alive and created by Gotham. And he chooses to do good. He is joy in the dark. He's the sunrise. Which is, of course, the whole visual/lighting design theme of the first film: becoming the light in the dark and the sunrise that follows.

But this movie def make me have a lot of ideas for Battison. He looks like a pathetic wet dream and watching him get slapped…. Girl. He was crying, holding/rocking himself, and covered in blood wtf.
Dark Clark definitely is lingering in my mind… the things he’d do to that version of Bruce. I was freaked in that theater.

So you know the song Belle from Beauty and The Beast? I keep seeing edits with it on TikTok, and it gave me such a good Bruharv idea. With Battiston specifically. Like, a popular and etc Harvey Dent falling head over heels for the awkward CEO of Wayne Enterprise, deciding to pursue him (quite aggressively) except Bruce is oblivious or/and extremely reluctant.

SUPERBAT HEADCANONS
-Bruce will never admit he likes the size difference between him and Clark. His ego is too big for that.
-At the start of their relationship, Bruce's kid's would fake vomit whenever Clark would even get close to Bruce.
-The justice league know somethings fishy between the two but can't put their finger on it.
-maybe it was the fact under the table Bruce always had a hand on Clarks thigh.
-Clark Kent is the biggest munch ever doesn't matter if its ass or pussy. Bruce is getting it anytime.
-Bruce hates the fact that Clark will throw any button up on and just run a hand through his hair a few times.
-Bruce's hair routine and shower routine is excessively long and complected.
-Best believe that when he finds out Clark is using two in one shampoo, Bruce is shoving Clark into his personal shower and showing him an actual routine.
-When Bruce meets Clarks' parents, he wears his best suit to impress them only for the two to go to the Kent farm and Bruce to be immediately covered in mud.
-Clark takes so many photos of Bruce while he's sleeping. Not because he's a creep but because Clark could lose him anytime Bruce goes out as Batman and Clark can't lose anyone else and not have something to remember them by.
