over time, throughout the game, zacharie falls for the batter, and he realizes all too quickly what that means. he knows hell have to witness the different endings, specifically the judges ending. he knows that hes going to harbour these feelings for the batter game after game after game, he knows he has to watch the batter turn into a monster, but he just cant get rid of the feelings that he has for him. and the best part is, with each new reset, zacharie has to wait for the batter to come to him and have no idea who he is. every time, even though he knows it wont happen, he has this little bit of hope that maybe, just maybe this one time the batter will finally remember him.
