Writing prompt for you! How does Jason react to meeting Lyra for the first time? Then Redhood meeting her and finding out she has magic?
When Jason meets Lyra he can already tell he loves her, because although he keeps his tough bruising persona and no-damns-given attitude, he genuinely cares for everyone Bruce brings into the manor. He fell in love with how lovey dovey she was. He loved that about Dick, but respected Damian's desire to stay away from most people. Because he did the same, yet that kind of thing would keep him up at night when he was younger. *Why didn't I hug X, or why didn't I say hello to Y*
When Redhood met Silverbat it was a different story. He thought it was ridiculous, figuring that it was Barbara in some new maybe new high-tech costume that allowed her to walk again only to recognise the voice and let out a deep sigh, he proceeded to show her how he did things while she stood by in horror thinking he was killing people. "They're rubber bullets right?"
Jason smirked under his mask, "Yes kid, they're rubber."
"I'm not a kid!" Lyra quipped bacm but Jason turned away and ignored the comment leaving her flustered.
They continued patrolling and when they both went seperate ways and met the next day as their hidden identities it wasn't clear to Lyra who Redhood was. But Jason knew her secret.
