Alicia wasn’t one to talk about her feelings often, but when it came to the group at the Kismet Planetarium, she didn’t mind showing her appreciation every so often. They had grown on her much like a family and being that she wasn’t close with most of her own, she was glad to have another so close.

“Everyone, it’s your lucky day~”

The fortuneteller walked into her place of work with five blue lisianthuses, one for each of her co-workers.

“Ahh, I don’t get it.”

Pia held her own made census for the bathhouse in her hands and walked back to the front desk. She had recently gotten a few back that were all good, but none of them wanted to try her new and improved baths. It didn’t make sense to her. This week’s was a bath full of bubbles - who wouldn’t love that?

She sat at the front desk and hummed in thought. This meant that she needed bigger and better ideas! Something like more bubbles or colored bubbles.

Ooh, colored bubbles!

She quickly scribbled the thought down before she forgot and looked up at the sound of footsteps. Sometimes she forgot she was the boss of this place and wasn’t used to the employees walking up to her.

“Hi-ho, Melody~♪”

✧ Who would he be without his coworkers? The people who help him through everything, and whom he tries to help just as much. Vishnal’s affection towards them hopefully doesn’t go unnoticed, but there’s nothing against a little extra appreciation here and there.

✧ So the next time the Gigant Inn & Springs staff goes to their communal room, they’ll find one red alstroemeria for all of them, with a note:

Thank you for being great co-workers! I don’t know where I’d be without you all to help me.

✧ And for the special boss, Pia, whose bubbly personality always brightens his day, will be an extra two red alstroemerias (friendship and devotion) and one white calla lily (purity).

Danny smelled like the sea now. He hadn’t noticed at first. Work on a ship for days on end without heading onto land, and you sort of get used to the scent. It’s everywhere. The salty waters that splashed onto the decks to be subsequently scrubbed off, the smell and even taste of the air, all of it Danny had become accustomed to. It was only after docking again today, after washing up a bit, that he realized just how clean the water was here. Of course, they had fresh water on the boat, but that had to be conserved as much as possible for drinking and whatnot. It had been quite some time since he had a good, long soak in clean water.

The springs on Arcadia sounded like the best place to do that. Danny entered the building of the Gigant Inn & Springs. He glanced around, looking for the main desk or an employee. He had no intention of staying the night, and he kind of hoped it wouldn’t be a package deal. 

Twigs snapped under Kelsey’s foot as he wandered deeper into the woods, string backpack bouncing against his back. He didn’t get to come out here often, considering how concerned all the adults were about him being out alone, even now that he was older(they worried about his asthma and he couldn’t really blame them). It had taken him forever to finally convince them that he was capable enough to gather grass.

Besides, he had ran out of blue paint this morning.

The shy boy looked down at his hand, placing a finger against his pointer. “I need Blue grass…” He moved his finger to touch his middle finger. “I should probably pick up some Indigo grass if I can find it…” finally he pointed to his ring finger. “And I’ll grab some Yellow grass to be safe.” Kelsey always drew the sun to brighten everything up.

Kelsey lifted his head again and caught a flash of… pink? through the trees? He stopped short, staring after the fleeting color. Someone was out here with him. He steeled his fear. He had his Monster Glove, if it was a monster, he could handle it. He hoped he could at least.

“H… Hello? Is someone h-here?” His stutter was improved but still present. He held himself together despite this.

Several days ago, Rick set out on a voyage - one that would finally end literal years of torture and fear and frustration, one that would bring the happy ending that his family deserved to fruition.

Several days ago, Rick had not been aware that he was prone to seasickness.

With his feet on solid ground and his stomach empty from twenty-four hours before, Rick sagged his way through the island of Arcadia, his eyes bleary and bloodshot behind his glasses. He hadn’t slept in what felt like weeks. He hadn’t had clean water to drink in hours. He was a mess. And yet still somehow he had to negotiate a place to sleep and start getting the word for his search out there.

An inn. He squinted up at a sign - Inn and Baths - and gathered himself up as well as he could, straight through the doors and to the front counter.

The café was busy as usual. A lot of travelers stopped by on a daily basis to enjoy the tropical scenery that maintained itself every day of the year. On top of the decor, everyone enjoyed the cultural dishes, as well as, their own favorites - an easy way the twins secured their income.

             “Welenga! Please seat yourself.” 

Iluka placed the tray in her hand on the counter and faced the customer with a bright smile. It wasn’t long before she recognized the person who had just walked in. The young woman had a round face with pink hair, blue eyes, and a sense of style that she hadn’t seen before - it was a look she couldn’t forget. The café owner tried to think if she knew anything about her, but with the limited time she has with each individual it was rare to get anything besides their name and a quick ‘how are you?’.
