#bath sabbath

20/5 One of my few full size oils, Hades from Bath Sabbath. The initial scent profile is a punchy, citrusy pomegranate, which makes sense with Pomegranate, Lime, Bergamot, and Frankincense notes. The darker incense kicks in as it dries.

It's the deep richness of a Dark Academia Aesthetic, a professor grading papers into the night with a lightly citrus scented candle. Very like the God it's named after.

This one doesn't cling to dry skin very well (but does extremely well with a lotion barrier). I noticed that it dissipated in about 20 minutes with just wispy scent after that.

HELLBENT FOR LEATHER- The unmistakable smell of some brand new leather chaps.

Bottle: Fresh, new, chrome-tan leather. Bitter and astringent.

Fresh: A mix between an incredibly masc-leaning cologne or aftershave (think "Brut") mingled with new, intense, garment leather. Not the smell of a saddle, but the smell of... yeah, biker chaps. And... wait... hang on... Vinyl Records? The precise and exact smell of sliding an LP out of it's sleeve.

NOVEMBER COMING FIRE- The smell of a Bonfire on a cold autumn night. Hints of smoke, sweet woods and patchouli. From Bath Sabbath on Etsy. Available in full size and sample bottles.

Bottle: "Hints" of smoke, you say? Thou a liar art. That's the smell of wood ash, soot and smoke clinging to a jacket the next day. So smoke it's smokier than smoke. Pretty sure they juiced the monster from Lost to make this, and I don't wanna know what that looked like.

Fresh: Honestly, this smells like brittle cinders and dirt. It's pure, refined, campfire. A dab will do ya, and it layers wonderfully with other scents that need something to ground them.

This was in the mail today! Thank you so much @bathsabbath! I was worried that it wouldn’t be here for my boyfriend’s birthday since it had to come all the way to germany. 

SO REAL I CAN FEEL THE ALLERGIES.

j/k i’m probably not allergic to this scent. I think it’s just in my head, since I’m so used to blowing up in allergies as soon as I lick an apple. I did not lick this.

I should pour on some more just to be sure though.... If it had higher throw it would be perfect. But mostly I blame my skin for absorbing scents super fast.
