watching tdkr and im just now realizing the comedic value of batcat as a ship. besides being probably the kinkiest of all dc couples the idea that the gotham gossip mill probably assumes selina “eat the rich” kyle is double timing batman by sugar daddying a billionaire trust fund airhead is so funny in hindsight

i don’t care about anything else except catwoman has a soft spot for all the batkids, especially after jason. she takes some time but eventually puts together how awful and dangerous it is for batman to have these child sidekicks. part of the reason i have a hard time with batcat sometimes is that selina canonically cares a lot for children. why would she want to be with a man who has a ) tried to change her to the point where she has a mental breakdown over it or b ) goes against what she stands for not only politically, but also morally. it’s something that needs to be weighed and worked through. selina doesn’t trust batman and she doesn’t trust bruce. that’s a bond that can’t just be formed through evading each other on roof tops.
