Bruce Wayne x reader
Bruce Wayne was the well know business man, one of the richest in Gotham city. But one other came fairly close to it, y\n l\n was the other richest person in Gotham.
Bruce still wonders how you two seemed to end up in the same circles at galas and other events, but what caught his eye was the sudden shift in your business.
You used to manufacture weapons mainly for military use, but after you were missing for a few weeks that changed. When you got back you focussed on clean energy, helping the poor in Gotham and fixing the education system.
A lot of the upper class in Gotham thought you were nuts, you were extremely intelligent, driven, and sarcastic.
So how you and the brooding Bruce Wayne ended up together was a bigger mystery to most.
But you and Bruce had a close connection, you two were similar. Sometimes to the detriment of those around you.
Bruce would ask you opinions on “bat stuff” as you called it.
“Could you make it do this?”
“I’ll get right on that, right after pigs fly”
“You could’ve said no”
“There’s no fun in that”
You had a workshop in the mansion, one that would rival the Wayne tech enterprises labs, Bruce was impressed when you moved in and declared a wing for yourself.
You were protective of the ones you loved. when Bruce almost died, you went almost lost it. Trying to figure out ways to protect him and the boys and prevent them from having to leave.
“Honey you can’t always protect us”
“I want to protect the ones I can’t live without, and that’s you and the boys, I don’t know what I would do if I lost any of you”
After that talk, you made their body armor stronger, helped train them to be better. If you couldn’t stop them you would make sure they were undefeated
You were the life of a party, having some issues with drinking, and wanting to let loose after having to be so serious all the time.
But you were the leader of your family even if they don’t want to admit it. Especially when you’re being cocky.
