In an animal AU where Bruce and Damian are bats, the supers are dogs and the other members of the batfamily are various types of birds. At some point almost every member of the batfamily has tried to sleep upsidedown like Bruce. The only one who has not is Damian who has tried to sleep rightsideup like the birds. At some point Clark just got used to checking to see how they were all sleeping before he went to bed in case he needed to stay up late to catch them when they fell.

AHHHHHHH!! I bet what he does is that he lays on his stomach so if one of them falls, they land on a soft and warm tummy. And Clark jolts up and then puts them to his side and licks them back to sleep.Â
Except for Damian.
Damian squeaks at him and goes over to cuddle with his dad who’s probably seen the whole thing.
