Do or Die

While I sit here waiting for a large print file to upload I will share with you pictures of my Bastiladon, on its 120mm base. This is the largest single Warhammer mini I have ever painted, and it aint actually that big, sits on the palm of your hand. I am quite proud of it, especially a couple of the little features, like the stone head made from pushing a doll into playdough and making a casting from plaster of paris. Or the slight glittery effect on the crystals from watering down gold till it was some flakes in suspension. It is my first big unit for my Seraphon army. I'm 'fluffing' these guys as summoned memories that are existing on their own and have returned to the jungles sans slann.

My Bastiladon with the Ark of Sotek is done! There where some problems with gluing the skinks to its back but I did what I could. This was my first time doing a custom paint job instead of relying on the box. Inspired by Natalieslinn’s Bastiladon on Instagram.

Weekend Progress WIP. Got the Bastiladon to a point I'm happy with, just got to finish his skinks and it's backpack laser. Pretty happy with it, though those scales took longer then I would have liked, the stone head worked out a treat!
