Nouvel extrait dévoilé cette semaine, Bassackwards est un morceau rythmé d’extraits sonores enregistrés à l’envers (technique du « rewind »). Kurt Vile y évoque dans un style folk et psychédélique la façon dont il voit le monde à travers ses différents voyages. Son clip aux notes pop, vintage et nostalgiques représente une journée familiale à la plage où des jeunes vont surfer.
