@annon-thurin medical billing jobs I think are more about looking over patient records and dealing with insurance companies so doctors and facilities can get paid and also finding ways to save money and making sure the codes are correctly inputed so patients are getting billed for the right procedures and amounts etc and I think medical coding is more of directly transcribing medical records from physicians handwriting into code so they can be inputed into the system for the correct treatment and procedure. Like everything medically has a corresponding code even if a patient visited for a runny nose and a sore throat or if they are being admitted for surgery it would have to be transcribed into a code for patient records.
