It happened. I did c25k w5. It was a task and I had to mentally prepare for it. I knew that w5d3 was a big one - it is 20 minutes straight of running. What I didnāt realize (until I got on the treadmill and started my warmup walk) was that w5d2 was ALSO a toughy. Double 8 minute runs. DoublĆ© huits.
I really didnāt think I would be able to get through those 8ā²ers but I figured I would give it the oleā college try (I donāt know what that means). I made it through both and surprised both you and me.Ā
Then last night, Valentineās Day, the most (supposedly) romantic evening of the year, I took myself to the gym and ran for 20 mins straight. I donāt know how to feel about the fact that I am counting these milestones as just that, milestones. Running for 20 minutes used to be super easy. But. I need to count these as victories. I need that in order to want to keep going and achieve more tiny victory milestones until I am more comfortable with my running.
So. Until weāreĀ āthereā again, letās celebrate those tiny trophy-worthy achievements. Iām so glad we are doing this together. As long as I stay one step ahead of you...
Love and kās, Beachy
