Actor!AU Headcanons for Our Bloody Secret
Author's Note: If I get any of these wrong, please let me know and I can adjust as needed! @ourbloodysecretofficial
I will be adding a cutoff at the end for anyone that would want to write their own scenes or headcanons about relationships they have in mind with their MC, if anyone wants to, I would love to see some of the incarnations you all come up with :)
Baseline!MC in the Actor AU
General Headcanons:
-They are a veteran of the Romantic Horror scene. Anyone who has any interest in the genre will have seen a movie with MC in it, usually as the antagonist.
-As of present, they have starred in a total of 12 movies, five of whom would be the first titles those that love the genre would name, and two series.
-They usually play the Yandere, but they have also played bit antagonist roles, something their fans find delightful, it's almost like seeing an A-List actor shoot a oneliner before they disappear from the movie.
-They have a small but very passionate fanbase (Yes, there are thirst edits of them, and there are multiple videos of people going in depth about the movies they star in. Though no one outside of the Horror-Romance combo would have much of an idea who they are.)
-Wrapping up the latest movie, they find themselves in a pretty deep depression about the typecasting they find themselves immersed in. Sure, they like the job and they are very good at it, however they feel stagnant, like they need to try something new.
In comes Our Bloody Secret:
-MC heard about the movie from Connor of all people.
They had been friends since acting college, and when Connor got ahold of the villain role and heard the main character spot was empty, he immediately called them up and told them if they wanted a protagonist role then they would have to get on set as soon as possible.
-Desmond was the only person who knew whom MC was as soon as they walked in, a huge fan of theirs, which (practically) caused them to be hired on the spot.
-MC came onto the set after almost everyone else because the Director was so picky, so everyone was already friends and connected with each other by the time they showed up, which really helped add the isolated feeling MC would channel into their performance.
However, the set is very warm and friendly, so it isn't long before they're talking and laughing with the other cast members.
-Considering the amount of experience they have in this kind of work, they are usually the ones to give pointers to the yanderes.
Such as the scene, for example, where Dean grabs Darren's arm and twists it, it was MC that showed them how to do that specific twist that did the least amount of real damage without looking fake.
