Since Marvelâs going with the âLoki was brainwashedâ approach for the first Avengers movie, and the fandom is jumping on that to vindicate his actions there, guess that means they can stop defending Tony for trying to kill Bucky at the end of Civil War, right?Itâs only fair.
âI believe we can come to an arrangement,â Mephisto said, a grin slow forming across his features. âThe only payment I require is the method of something I believe youâre quite familiar with.âÂ

Retribution.
basadoir  answered:
At first, he doesnât respond, gaze fixed on a spot on the distant wall as he sat on the barest edge of his seat. He was teetering there, not just on the periphery of the chair, but on the boundary that distinguished justice from vengeance. They were attacked on their own damn turf but why?
How long had they been compromised?
Eventually, the spell that keeps Reyes silent is broken by a sharp exhale as he leaned back in his chair retreated from that beckoning abyss, eyes hard compared to the rest of face. The man was conflicted, unsure how to move forward. Retribution would be theirs, come the closing curtain to this sorry act, but the exact particulars of their revenge were still murky and lacking detail.
âMad? Nah. No, Iâm seething here.â Hands grip tightly at his knees, leaving bruises that he didnât seem to care about. Lacroix was a good man and an even better agent. There was no way in hell he wasnât walking away from this without spilling some Talon blood in return.
Shaking his head, Reyes closed his eyes then turned to look at Jesse directly. âHave you taken out the trash like I asked?â The words he used where chosen with care, holding double meaning in this time of chaos. What Gabe meant to say was: Did you make you that the area here is secure and free of bugs or intruders.
Gabriel was a man who couldnât be angered easily and when he did he yelled. But you were a lucky person if he yelled at you in anger. It was a show of aggression but never lethal and silent rage. No. Only some very rare people, monsters...creatures got to see that side of Reyes. An angry and silent Gabriel would make the Devil himself piss his pants. None normally survived to see the next day.Â
So he shouldâve figured that much out. The way he gripped into his own skin like that, the cold hard glazed stare he gave. Something was wrong. And he was angry...
McCree gulped and looked away some. Even after all these years that sharp gaze could still make him feel like a sixteen year old, scolded by his new Commander who he now owed his entire life too for not being locked up along with his crew. He felt dread for even asking such stupid questions.Â
âOf course I did.â Jesse muttered back, pushing the rim of cowboy hat father over his face to hide the subtle look of fear in his chocolate orbs. âAinât nothinâ tâbe found. Did a good sweep nâeverything.â He huffed and lent back in his c hair some, arms crossed. For a long while he didnât say anything but finally, getting fed up with that constant beeping he spoke up once again.Â
âWe gotta do somethinâ about this.â Jess murmured quietly, his eyes softening as he stared back down at his friend who laid motionless in his bed. âAnythinâ. I canât stand thâthought of lettinâ them get away with this Gabe. We canât. I know Jack got orders from the higher up but...weâre not like Overwatch. We can do somethinâ âbout this and I know you want to too. Donât tell me mâwrong.â The Cowboy pleaded.Â
he was in his demonic form; fighting the urge to let himself completely go all this time. still, there was just enough humanity in him to let him speak properly - just enough to issue the statement for another round. he wanted to train, to fight, and reaper just happened to be the closest one in rage to handle him.
a reason to why a deathly smirk spread across his twisted lips. no, he wasnât going to stop while he still had energy left in him - let alone when he wasnât finished. if he kept himself going like this, he would be stated for a month at best from having to do anything drastic⌠a reason to why he wanted to wear himself out as best as possible.
a reason to why he lunged at the other; no warning, not even a growl. no, ky was going to make sure reaperâs ass was handed to him. though, the reasoning behind it wasnât out of spite, but out of being restless, and it was why he chose to take on the wraith once again. this time⌠with a more fatal agenda in mind.
