Sometimes, we act like we’re young and head out on a Wednesday evening to bartaco for dinner and drinks. I even got carded and I love that I’m 20 + years past 21 and still get carded. Anyway, back to #foodie talk. - Chips, guac, salsa verde, salsa roja, street corn (after 19 plus years of marriage, he still steals my last bite) and plantanos maduros (everything is better with maduros) was the perfect way to start our mid week child free dinner date. We paired these starters with bartaco’s seasonal cocktails and our favorite tacos. We tried the carne asada, chicken chorizo, mojo pork carnitas and roasted duck tacos. Have you tried the limited time seasonal cocktails at bartaco to go along with your menu favorites? Hubby tried the Smoked Marasca - A smoky, tart + sweet blend of housemade smoked pepper agave, cherry liqueur, mezcal + fresh squeezed lime juice, garnished with three luxardo cherries. I went for the Seasonal Caipirinha - Muddled up limes, pomegranate seeds + sugar cubes, shaken up with cachaça. - hubby’s cocktail was sweet and mine was tart, but both were yummy. - you must try them while they’re available. The current #bartacosecret is a lobster salad situation that really won me over with it's creaminess and buttery avocado, fresh lobster standing out as the star, and excellent greens as a supporting cast. Would nom again for sure.

The #bartacosecret is out and it is by far my FAVE secret ever told. This hard shell taco with a guacamole base, is topped with creamy chilled chipotle lobster salad, drizzled with a citrus sherry vinaigrette, then garnished with a cilantro, onion and Fresno chili salad. It’s so good, I went back two days in a row and I’m heading back to @bartacolife as we speak 😂 can’t get enough of that juicy lobster. When you “sea food”, you gotta eat it.
