I agree with the Wiki statement BUT I had no clue re: s3 Piper’s behaviour until I read some excellent posts by a few fans here on tumblr, specifically:

To anyone who is still scratching their heads about s3 Piper, I cannot recommend those 3 posts highly enough--they offer excellent insight into her actions.

Ok, so to answer your specific ‘ask’ about the Vauseman hate-sex in s3, I’ll quote two bits from the last link above:"Alex stops wanting to hurt her but piper still desperately believes she deserves to be hurt."(@thefundamental) and "Piper’s fine with it up until that point. It feels good to have intimacy that hurts in a justified way. It feels deserved. But then when Alex really truly forgives her, just completely surrenders and offers Piper unconditional love and support, Piper doesn’t actually want it. It makes her feel worse because she doesn’t deserve it.“ (@baroquemirrors). The whole post is excellent and I’m glad I reblogged it because the original posts are gone :/

Oh dear… I’ve been trying to repress all my OITNB feels deep, deep down because I feel like the season premiere is still way too far from now, so I haven’t been able to properly manage my expectations just yet. I wanna be lowkey about everything too because I also want to minimize the possible disappointment (if any). I’m really looking forward to the storytelling they’re going to do, though. Like. How can they stretch 3 days worth of events??? throughout an entire season???? and make sure it stays interesting???

But yeah, to answer your question: (1) I’m really excited to see everyone’s character development in that short period of time, (2) I hope Piper and Alex both stay alive and stay faaaar away from trouble and further away from the possibility of an encounter with Stella Snow, the woman who knows nothing, because oh my god seriously no one wants to see her face again it’s a waste of screen time and like why is she still a thing, and (3) at the top of my head, Idk why but I just really want to see Lolly again.

3. name three favorite writers

I’m not sure if this means fic writers or published writers, so I’ll answer a bit of both. For fic, I really love fullyajar’s POI stuff, especially “All’s Fair (in Love and War)”. As far as published writers go, I figure I’ll just tell you what I’m currently reading or what I’ve most recently read. Fiction -- Under the Udala Trees by Chinelo Okparanta. Non fiction -- Red Orchestra: The Story of the Berlin Underground and the Circle of Friends Who Resisted Hitler by Anne Nelson (I bought this one right after the election.)

12. favorite place to write

Airports and airplanes. I get more writing done in airports than basically anywhere else. It’s a shame I don’t travel more, really.

I’m interpreting story broadly so that it can include a play -- No Exit by Jean Paul Sartre (this answer changes all the time)

30. hardest part of writing

nice, nice nice. oh btw I got to Hollow Bastian, but then I got distracted by Far Cry 3 and I’ve been playing that for the last few days lol.
