Barnyard Bash - Poultry Hotfix Dec. 2024
The pet motive advertising for the poultry from Barnyard Bash was pretty broken. Pets could sink into the floor and get stuck there and the elderly did not get to eat their prey at all. This has all been resolved. Many thanks to Strix from our Discord for reporting!
Changelog:
Cats and dogs of all ages should now be able to hunt and eat poultry when hungry enough
Sloppy pets will have a greater hygiene drop when eating hunted poultry.
The main archive has been updated with the fix. You can also download a separate hotfix below

Update instructions: Because this only affects huntable poultry, you do not have to redownload the entire set. Just let the files in the hotfix overwrite your old ones.

Barnyard Bash - Tools & Hogs Update
Pigs have been having issues for a while now and would constantly die despite food and water being present on the lot. Naturally, this was a relatively simple issue that took us months to find and fix. There's always something... In any case, please re-download the set.

The inventory tools included have been updated to the newest, most optimized versions
UPDATE: forgot to mention initially, but Sheep now have a "Force Shear" option
Update instructions: In case of doubt, REPLACE ALL FILES. Files affected: mud wallow, all pigs, all accessories and inventory tools.

Hi i'm sorry to bother you, i use the barnyard bash, and I don't know why, adult hen, duck when places and put on live mode disappear suddenly ! I have the Easy Lot Check, the Easy Inventory Check and the time Out Controller. Maybe i forget something important, or it is a mod conflict ?
Hi, you probably have a mod affecting roaches. Since the poultry is based on them, most anti-roach mods will cause issues. If you want a roach mod that is compatible, you can take a look at @simnopke's "Insect Insanity" which is confirmed compatible.

Is there a specific lifespan mod you built the timings around? With the default aging times, it takes nearly a Sim's entire adult lifespan for a lamb to grow up, which feels wrong and like I should have an aging mod of some kind installed
Everything is based on maxis time. You can do one of two things if you don't want to wait:
BCON TUNING IN SIMPE
All livestock (excl. sheep) now have BCON-tuneable pregnancy and lifespan
FORCE OPTIONS If you don't want to wait for your cows to autonomously mate, get pregnant, have offspring, grow up and die, you can select to use the "Force" options on the pie menu. These will immediately cause the following to happen:
• Have Offspring • Grow Up Offspring • Die • Milk Animal • Shear Sheep
