I usually don’t write Barnalia here buuuuuut I really miss them, so here ya go!

3.Arguments headcanon: Their arguments can be a little explosive mostly because they’re both incredibly stubborn. Barnabas is naturally very entitled, so he actually starts most of the fights, even if he doesn’t mean to. 6. Night out headcanon: They go out fairly often- at least a night or two each week. He usually takes Julia to the bar and lets her drink, and then Julia shows him around the newest club or mall or record shop and they just have fun.8. Sleeping headcanon: Julia gets into a more nocturnal sleep schedule after being with Barnabas for a while. Sometimes she likes to snuggle with him in his coffin, but most of the time she’ll simply sleep on the bed next to his coffin so that she can move (and get up to vomit since she’s almost always hungover)

Do you love/hate/don’t feel strongly about this character? I really like her, but I feel like I can’t really feel too strongly about her since she was only given, like, 5 minutes of screen time.

What’s your favorite trait of this character? I like how intolerant she is of other people’s bullshit, and how easily she reads people. Also, when she first meets Vicky and calls her out for being a liar, I also love the line about how women shouldn’t reduce each other to labels. She’s lowkey feminist which is awesome. 

What’s your favorite moment/even involving this character? Same as anyone’s, I think. Doctor/patient confidentiality. Gotta suck that vamp dick.

If you could have one power/attribute/etc. of this character, what would it be? Probably to care less about what other people think haha.

Have you ever pictured this character naked? Y’know, I can’t say that  I have. I’m tragically straight.

When did you fall in love/hate with this character? I you don’t have any strong feelings toward them, why not? I mean, at first I really just fell in love with her because she’s Helena Bonham Carter, but I really do love her. From the moment she first appears on screen until she dies, she’s so quirky and has such a strong personality and I love it.

Gives nose/forehead kisses: Oh man, Barnabas is a sucker for forehead kisses. Julia appreciates them too, especially when she’s hungover or just tired.

Gets jealous the most: Julia. Because Barnabas is kind of the only man who hasn’t made her feel like complete shit and she loves him for that. She couldn’t stand the thought of him treating anyone else the way he treats her.

Takes care of on sick days: Barnabas is constantly taking care of Julia when she’s hungover. Even though he doesn’t drink, he re-learned how to make honey lemon tea, and is very sweet and patient with Julia whenever she drinks too much.

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: lol they don’t have beach days but I guess Barnabas probably would drag Julia.

Gives unprompted massages: Barnabas! He’s very touchy-feely, and loves the way Julia melts under his touch.

Drives/rides shotgun: Julia drives, Barnabas gets shotgun

Brings the other lunch at work: Barnabas tries (and probably fails) to make lunch and bring it to Julia’s lab.

Has the better parental relationship: Barnabas, even though they were killed when he was young.

Embarrassingly drunk dancer: I don’t even think I have to say it, do I? Take a wild guess…

Still cries watching Titanic: Barnabas! He’s such an emotional piece of shit, and he unironically loves all the cheesy love stories of the new century

Firmly believes in couples costumes: Barnabas. He loves coordinating colors with Julia

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas: Barnabas again. He literally has no concept of money, and is so used to being rich anyway. He also just loves to spoil Julia.

Makes the other eat breakfast: Barnabas makes Julia eat breakfast. He knows she’ll skip meals to either lose weight, or when she’s hungover and too nauseous. So, every morning, he walks her to the breakfast table, and watches her eat.
