A black-tie gala that benefits the Washington Humane Society, the 28th Annual Bark Ball will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Despite the black-tie dress and beautiful spaces provided by the Washington Hilton, all guests can bring their canine companions as their dates for the evening. Bark Ball regularly draws out some of the most influential minds in Washington, D.C., and the surrounding area and gives them a chance to show off their love for their pets. Guests include popular business professionals, politicians, entertainers, and members of the media. The night also celebrates the wonderful programs and services of the Washington Humane Society that the event makes possible. The Bark Ball begins at 6 p.m. with a reception and silent auction. Dogs will have access to a wonderful Bark Bar full of various treats. At 7 p.m., attendees enjoy a three-course seated meal while listening to the various Washington Humane Society presentations. A live auction follows and the night concludes with dancing. Individual tickets, as well as table tickets and discounted tickets for young professionals, are now available on the Washington Humane Society website or at BarkBall.org.
