Say my name like the word of God
Would Sentinel add trucknuts to his altmode or the reverse would the idea gross him out
Seething with my little fists clenched at my sides as I sob and snot runs down my chin because I keep forgetting that Dolsville is in like fucking. The UK I think based on what people say??? But I'm very American, a fucking Texan yeehaw buddy, so I shake and seethe over the fact that I had such a southern gothic horror visual for so much stuff in the town but it's not like that because it's not in Texas where I just imagine everything to be because I'm a loser.
Like damn it i had so many mental images of freaky ass girls based in my own childhood memories and based on horror stuff people have made in the southern gothic theme. But now it feels out of place doing that because I don't know shit about the general UK area and I'm not gonna learn just for a porn game.
And I am not going to cope I'm gonna stay mad like a little bitch (I am not actually mad I am content and happy) and keep imagining my characters as weird southern freaks because why not.
If I can't imagine my dollies living in this overheated hellhole like I do then what is even the point.
If they are not trailer park trash in the shitty booty city what is even the point.
Anyway hope y'all's days are going well I'm losing it over the stupidest thing possible.
Edit: Called Lilith European a while back but fuck that she's southern garbage like me
For Kimchay prompt: One of them recording JOI for the other when Kim is in different time zones on tour
So this isnât a full prompt fill or anything, but I found what I started in my notes app and decided something was better than nothing đ
****
Itâs not that Kim canât get it up while heâs on tour. Theyâve proven it enough times when Chay sent him progressively less dressed photos through Kimâs sound check for some pre-show fun.
Itâs just that⌠itâs so much. Too much sometimes. There are days Kim canât decide adding his own travel lock to the hotel door is worth the extra seconds it would take for him to undo it if he needed to get out quickly. Heâs already strung out thinking about set lists and sound checks and what to eat to keep his voice pristine and one million other tour details, he needs all the peace of mind he can get.
Sometimes just thinking through the logistics of being vulnerable in an unknown space is more laborious than the tour itself. When that happens, trying to get off without Chay right next to him leaves Kim more strung out than when he started.
Luckily for both of them, Chay is a good problem solver.
âStop,â Kim says sharply, gripping his phone in both hands.
On the other side of the line Chayâs whine is beautifully wrung out already.
Chay curses at him. âYouâre being mean, phi.â
âI am,â Kim agrees solemnly, the barest hint of a smile crossing his face.

and we're all gonna die, so why not just stay high on the haze of a whipped rainbow bowl?
Alright, finished my Twig reread! I was going to make a post summing up my thoughts about the final arc + ending, but it turns out wildbow already wrote almost exactly what I was thinking in his end note:
âI had an idea of what I wanted to happen and where I wanted to take things, and I explicitly wanted to avoid the build-up to the same kind of big bad that Iâd had in prior works.  But as reader responses shifted in one direction, really wanting that epic fantasy story, I pushed things that way in response.  It led to a final confrontation that was painted as one thing, only for the big bad to not feel as big or bad as they couldâve because it was never really the plan to have them there in that context.â
Heâs right! Arc 20 reads as a big climactic battle, but the actual battle stuff has nothing to do with the ending. More than that, the battle itself isnât that well done? The lamb elements, fighting the Infante, all the inventive superweapons and projects that come up are great as ever, but the conflict between armies â which I donât think WB has written before or since â doesnât work. Itâs muddled, and it makes sense that it was originally intended to be a background element to the real, much closer focus conflict rather than the centrepiece of the final arc. While I was reading it, I was actually getting a hunch that this was a side effect of the POV shift from Fray (in Boil, the story snippet that later became Twig) to Sy; that I was reading a sideshow to Frayâs arc resolution taking place inside the Academy, and that it didnât hold together because it wasnât imagined in detail as a final battle. Turns out it was commenter influence, which if you've ever read web serial comments explains why it sucks.
As for the actual ending⌠I donât think itâs thematically incoherent, and I think it makes sense in-story that it could happen, and I think itâs the best ending that could be hoped for for the Lambs. Doesnât mean itâs satisfying â itâs undercut by the setup, as WB says above, and it doesnât grip your heart like Wormâs finale or Pactâs epilogue, but the rest of the final third+ of Twig is so heartbreaking and emotionally fraught that I donât think I could have coped with anything that felt like a natural conclusion to where the story was going.
