I really like the scene of spear pillar in the anime where ash and friends manage to free the lake spirits and are like âyouâre done cyrus!!â and he reveals that he has the red chain in a glove on his hand and can still control Dialga and Palkia. Badass as hell I love it
Idea for a story
Cyrus after being released from prison is given Crobat as a gift from Cynthia. This starts him on his journey to get his pokĂŠmon back. He finds his Weavile in the tundra and Houndoom near lake valor (one released the other escaped) and researches and finds his other pokĂŠmon are being rehabilitated by gym leaders in other regions.

My headcanon about cyrus and Cynthia going on their pokĂŠmon journey together and being friends from that is one of my favorite things. It makes the anime make like 10x as much sense to me

Oooh, a good question! Heâs actually someone Iâd never thought about for something like sleep headcanons, hmm...
Well, I headcanon him as someone who has a bit of a complex about restraining himself. Thatâs how I ended up reconciling his different personalities in different adaptations. That way he could be the stoic stylish badass from the games and anime, but also the adorable comic relief dork from pokespe and DPA mangas! And like.. these traits are even more endearing when you combine them together! A guy whose true heart is adorkable, yet he tries so hard to put on a suave facade. A guy whoâs really just as silly as the rest of the team, but tries to force himself to be the serious good influence leader type. A guy who acts unflappable but is incredibly flappable when he gets annoyed by Mars and Charon XD
So yeah i think maybe he would be very disciplined in his sleeping habits but also not as good as he thinks he is. Heâs like âget your 8 hours every day! rest and hydrate, kids!â but then he never really manages to get enough sleep, and he just compensates with extra coffee. But he spends an hour making his bed every morning, so that counts, right? XD

Hm itâs a good question! I really like more grounded AUs like canon divergence stuff where thereâs a distinct point in canon where everything changes and everyone still has their backstories and dynamics and all the events that make things change are shown. I donât really like modern aus because I feel like a lot of the nuances in my favorite fictional relationships is lost without their original context. Also just⌠human aus for stuff like teenage mutant ninja turtles annoy me because the entire purpose of the original story was about them not being human and people will just toss that aside and it gets on my nerves!
