Peter: *Not able to see where he was going with the pile of books in his arms, Peter feels with his foot for the nearest table and sets the books down onto it with a loud thud. He slumps behind them in the chair and takes some of the top ones off, lowering the pile until he saw Dorcas sitting opposite him. With a flush, he shifts a bit and licks his lips.* You don't mind if I sit here, right? Oct 29

Dorcas: -she looks up from her work and sees Peter. Smiling, she shakes her head- Not at all. Please, sit. Oct 29

Peter: T-thank you. *He stutters, but smiles all the same. He bends down to open his bag and pull out some parchment, placing the roll on the table for now.* What are you studying? Oct 29

Dorcas: It's really no problem. Just Potions. What about you? Oct 29

Peter: Uh, Potions, Defence, Transfiguration, Muggle Studies. Oct 29

Dorcas: That seems like an awful lot. -frowns- Do you need any help? Oct 29

Peter: I don't w-want to distract you... *He says, pulling one of the books towards him.* Oct 29

Dorcas: -chuckles- It's really no problem. I was almost done anyways. Oct 29

Peter: If you're sure. *Peter blinks, a little surprised at the offer of help.* Oct 29

Dorcas: Do you need help with anything in particular? Oct 29

Peter: Muggle Studies is the worst subject in the world. *He admits, half because he was bored during the class unless it was a practical and they got to work with some actual Muggle things.* We're learning about... the, uh... cars. We have to know about the engine and stuff. Oct 29

Dorcas: Oh. -thinking for a bit- Well, Muggle Studies isn't really my best either but let's see what we have. -motions for his textbook- Oct 29

Peter: *He pushes the textbook over to her and taps his fingers on the table, clearing his throat.* None of it makes sense. Oct 29

Dorcas: -her eyes skim over the diagram and words- Well, to me, it looks like... -begins to explain the basic concept of an engine, pointing out the parts of the diagram- Oct 29

Peter: *Using a spell, he makes the diagram appear on a piece of paper so he circle the parts she says and place the names on them.* Brooms are so much more simple." Oct 29

Dorcas: -laughs but agrees- Quite right, however, I prefer my feet stuck to the ground. Oct 29

Peter: Me too. I tend to fall off them. Then again I trip over my own feet, too, so. *He shrugs with a small laugh, writing a few notes down too.* Oct 29

Dorcas: I've been on once. -pauses- Worst experience ever. -looking at his notes and pointing a few more details and concepts- Oct 29

Peter: Sirius made me go on one. Never again. *He shudders, thinking back to the one and only time.* I'll stick to walking. Oct 29

Dorcas: -chuckles- Well, I am quite looking forward to Apparition classes next year. Oct 29

Peter: Me too. *He smiles.* My mother thinks I'll splinch myself first time. Oct 29

Dorcas: -shakes her head, blushing a bit- Thank you. Maybe, but maybe not. Most likely not but hey, we're here to learn right? Nov 1

Peter: I guess we are. *He smiles, nodding his head a bit.* Nov 1

Dorcas: How have you been enjoying the term so far? Nov 1

Peter: Good. Well, I'm doing better then I did last year. *He shrugs a bit, rubbing a hand at the back of his neck.* You? Nov 1

Dorcas: -smiles- That's really great. -thinks for a moment- Quite good. It's a lot more work than last year but I don't really mind. Nov 1

Peter: Tell me about it. *He huffs, throwing a dirty look at his books on the table.* Nov 1

Dorcas: -chuckles- Do you still want help? Nov 1

Peter: I think I'm way past help now. *He chuckles nervously, closing the Muggle studies book with a soft snap.* Nov 1

Dorcas: -shaking her head- Don't say that. Nov 1

Peter: You'd be surprised. 

Dorcas: -encouragingly- Don't give up. What else aren't you sure about? 15:09

Peter: I think I've had enough studying for one day. *Peter chuckles, pushing his book back with the others.* Though, if you're any good at Defence... 15:11

Dorcas: -smiles- I'm fairly good, I suppose. 15:12

Peter: Then could I maybe ask for your help again some time? 15:15

Dorcas: Of course. I'm sure you already know where to find me. 15:16

Dorcas: -chuckles- 15:16

Peter: Here? *He chuckles, looking around the library.* 15:16
