Comparison shot, with packaging & marks. Pre-zip code little sister’s box hints at 1960s; non-bending legs. Recent discovery: Hawaiian clones. I’d been spotting reused molds from child dolls for Mattel, Effanbee, and Vogue (and their own clones). But this fashion clone marked “Denney” on her back caught my eye (*sold by the Elsie Denney company, who more often used “Dress-me” hard plastic types for her souvenir dolls). Then I found an unmarked “little sister” for her, although she was issued by a different company (Ali Lani Inc.). The face styles are incredibly similar. The face mold styles, esp on the big sister, remind me a bit of Schwabinchen. Had anyone encountered these faces before? I would enjoy finding out more about them. #clonedoll #clonedolls #barbieclone #hawaiiandoll #1970sdolls #1960sdolls https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch70EY3vkAa/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
