A very unexpected ship.

This ship appeared in my head many months ago, and very unexpectedly, when I was watching the second season, I saw Barbara's parents at dinner, then I remembered that image of Billy at dinner when he was captured by the mind flayer. And I thought, "wow, I like this shit." The brain does strange things sometimes.

As a result, it came out in the image of a cheeky guy and a pretty girl. And I want a lot of cute and funny things with these two!

Hooray, a ship of characters who have never seen each other and died!

Thoughts?

I LIKE WHERE YOUR HEAD'S AT, HONESTLY.

I never thought of Daphne and Simon for Barbgrove and I'm obsessed with Barb being the DIAMOND OF THE SEASON. Simon definitely fits with the abusive dad issues (and I totally see him pulling out just to spite his father...)

Daphne and Simon could also apply to Hellcheer though...Chrissy gives me a lot of Daphne vibes.

Eloise and Philip Crane could also be Barbgroved...(book version at least, I have no idea what they're gonna do in the TV series and I will say TV!Eloise irritates the SHIT out of me)

I DO love Hellcheer as Benedict and Sophie though...I'm a sucker for a Cinderella story and I think THAT would be the most fun to write.

I'm not sure about Penelope and Colin...I need to think on this. I'm not a huge Mike/Eleven shipper but I LOVE Pen and Colin, so I wanna good ship for them (LMAO)...honestly? I might gender flip it and make it Jancy...like Jonathan is Lady Whistledown quietly pining for Nancy Bridgerton...

But then again Pen also has serious Barb vibes too!

This is fun guys, let's keep brainstorming--I need to pick the other ships in my upcoming fic...after all...
