she seems the type of mom to look into what her son watches before letting it roll. so when she’s hearing about this “super cool gamer named r with lots of good lessons and silly bits,” she’s so skeptical at first like, bewaring manosphere indoctrination, especially with her sweet young boy, but come to find… you.

cushy streamer that can kind of do whatever they want. notorious for hollow knight silk song game play. baran comes to learn your “lessons” are things like accepting defeat with a kermit smile, deep breath, and reminder of “we learned something this round” despite letting out a shriek at the killing blow a moment ago. “tenacity is the most important ingredient,” “don’t talk down to your opponents, you loose focus on leveling up”

videos a healthy mix of cozily lit indoor game time, little escapades in the sun (or rain as she learns), and messy diy or craft projects for your home. baran considers the swaths of media available to her son and concedes while you’re definitely monstrously stoned most of the time, the way you speak about yourself and others especially through moments of intense emotion could be a decent model for her son.

plus, she wants to encourage his increased smoothness in gn pronoun useage that seemed to arise in his vocabulary around the time. if she already happened to think your mannerisms and appearance are cute? that’s an added bonus.

all this to say

overtime hearing your voice floating through the shared space starts registering on another level above awareness.

part of her mind liked to entertain the idea of you there with them, playing with her son in the other room and soon to be entertaining her in the evening after his bedtime. she thinks of how soft your hair looks, wants to gently pinch pieces and rub her fingers together just to feel you.

when her baby is with his father, she gets along well. of course, there are things she wants and craves. it’s not even from a place of avoiding loneliness while home alone, but rather wanting to indulge in the joy of listening to your voice. suddenly, your videos are playing dang near all the time in her household.

you have your videos labeled in doubles, sometimes triples, for differing levels of explicitness. her son watches the “for the little lads” videos but she discovers your “pirates mouth” videos, aptly named. though the same pieces of videos are used, in the more explicit version you’re caught in moments in more moments of panic and silly, namely in your little songs, swears pouring out of your mouth.

morning noon and night and to and from work like any time anywhere she’s listening.

one day she drops her purse and is clearly already stressed. someone starts helping her. she recognizes the hands.

looking up to see you’ve slipped off your headphones, wearing a kind small smile saying “it happens. so far nothing i’ve found is broken, does this look like everything?” and she’s just looking at you jaw hung open, big brown eyes blown wide with emotion.

she catches herself staring and rushes to answer like a normal person, failing with a slipped, “thank you azizam” and you knowing a little farsi are internally like omg hot lady calling me kind names and she looks like she needs a hug? she failed up there.

you’re immediately enchanted. she’s convinced she just revealed her parasocial situation ship with you.

baran falls asleep after a long shift, but she's all over you. warnings: reader has an oral fixation (??) no smut, but suggestive. perchance only fluff?

baran ( al - hashimi ) who can't help but have her hands all over you when she's half asleep. after a long shift, she insists on not going to bed because she wasn't with you all day.

baran ( al - hashimi ) who whimpers into your neck, nuzzling into it. maybe it's an attempt to not fall asleep, but you can't ask. cause.. she's practically asleep.

baran ( al - hashimi ) who shoves her cold, sanitized hands up your hoodie. making your back arch, you whine. “ why are your hands so cold? ” to which she just giggles, drifting them higher up your waist.

baran ( al - hashimi ) who, just on the verge of actually falling asleep, gently eases her two middle fingers into your mouth. “ shh . . ” she mutters, before finally falling asleep.
