We got fed today ladies and gentlemen

I was just told this story by my mom that apparently I was a witness to when I was very young. We were at the Walmart pharmacy, just my mom, me and one of my brothers and we were just tiny little tots. One of the pharmacists working there was incredibly rude. She was this older lady maybe in her late 60s or early 70s. Whenever a customer would ask a question she would huff and scoff and roll her eyed and condescend them. My mom took notice and watched and many of the questions asked were the same ones. People tend to not listen in on conversations that are more personal so the people weren't actively listening to when another customer asked a repeat question. Now I get that it can be annoying but this woman just got under my mom's skin in a really bad way. Like I've seen her with annoyed and tired customer service staff before and she rarely if ever calls them out. So this woman had to have just been awful.

It was my mom's turn to get her prescription and when she got the bill she asked if that was with insurance. It was too high for it to be with insurance. The woman just huffed and said that my mom didn't give her insurance information. My mom informed her she did and asked for her to check again. The woman acted like she was being told to move heaven and earth, groaning and rolling her eyes. She found that my mom did in fact give her the insurance. No apology, more glaring.

Now, my mom said that my brother and I were itty bitty when this happened so she had to have been in in her mid 20s. The pharmacist probably didnt think this 5 foot 2, 20 something mother with two babies would be a threat. Oh how she was wrong. My mom just went cold. She never raised her voice, she made direct, unblinking eye contact and used her best "mom voice". You know the one. Hella scary. She didnt get riled up because she had kids with her but it was so much more scary for the pharmacist than someone screaming at her.

My mom told her that she should retire as the customer service job was obviously not working for her. She was being incredibly rude and hateful and there was no reason for it and she should be ashamed of her behavior. She said more but it's been so long that she couldnt recall it all but at the end of the talking to, the pharmacist was crying. My mom never saw her there again.

Ate some fruit yesterday

Ate some vegetables today

Got my first binder, wore it for 14 hours the first time wearing it, crushing myself, then learned about regular binder rules (which I should have looked up first but now I know ;)) and realized I really like it

Worked out for the first time in months

Made time to play with my dogs and hang out with my partner

Set up a new tattoo appt to get this:

Read jjk 12 and bsd 20 (was sad but amongst my fav mangas so)

Started bnha!! (Added to the list of like 5 other anime’s I’ve partially started)

Made an A on my advanced social psych exam

Came to terms with being non-binary in the closet and out of the closet as pan 🏳️‍🌈 (it’s a struggle)

Ive actually been dressing how I want to college instead of just wearing a shitty tshirt and workout pants

A really pretty girl told me she liked my outfit 🥺 (while I was wearing a Tokyo Revengers shirt!!)

Got sleep for more than 6 hours twice this week 🤧

I wanted to write this list and put it somewhere this week because I found my job to be extremely taxing and I had midterms, seeing all the little good things lined up like this I think was something I needed. So even if no one reads,
