New Year 2014 -Part 2-
Remember I said it was my bday in very confusing way in the last post? Well it was true, so after we kind of celebrated during Paul Van Dyk, it wasn't until I finished work (which was a dreadful 1-9pm shift) to get home, change and go out once more! This time, we headed to one of my favorite local bars, BlackBird Ordinary. A bit hipterish, definitely 4/20 friendly and with great choice of songs, plus it has an awesome bookcase with books and TABLE GAMES like Jenga and some other stuff that you wouldn't otherwise play. Then again, I love Jenga, and I can definitely dare you to try to beat me, because you won't.
Lucky for us, and I mean that in the most sarcastic way possible, my lovely cousin (also sarcastic) did not have her ID with her. ID as in IDENTIFICATION, or more relevantly, PROOF OF BEING OVER THE AGE OF 21 THAT IS REQUIRED BY EVERY DAMN BAR EVERYWHERE INCLUDYING IN DAYS SUCH AS MY BDAY. Sometimes that's not clear enough apparently. We ended up going to a not-so-great bar and playing the iPhone version of Taboo which I bought years ago for emergencies like this. It's called Word Kinshi, which makes me believe that Taboo is actually originally an Asian game Americanized. Either way, we ate at this other place and the night ended.
Finally, the third part isn't nearly as interesting, yet so great at the same time, but not great enough to write down a whole -Part 3-. So yep, not worth the trilogy, wish it was, but it isn't. Isn't there so many things that feel that way? Duh, that's everything.
