As a notorious panters-type writer, I fear that's impossible to do. XD
For example, the plan had been to already be well on the way to the titular town, and thus already out of Potter's Springs (where Josie has her tavern) by chapter 5-6.

was replying the demo last night and a thought came to mind, hope it's okay to ask this here :)
but, concerning mc being/had been married, excluding the widow option;
if we select an option that means the person in question is still alive, will we see them again in the future or it is off hand, lore for the mc?
example, if we picked we ran from our relationship ( not cold feet, but left due to, unhappy/bad situation. ) will the person show up later in the story?

If and how the person shows up depends on the mixture of choices.
In some cases it would be only as much as a mention in the epilogue, other times they might show up in person.
This applies to all of the 'isn't single/widowed' options
At least that's the plan. ^^;
Since you write many books simultaneously; do you ever forget some of your characters personalities and traits? (happens to me all the time)
Traits usually not. But, unfortunately, backstory at times Dx
I reckon both is equally annoying...
