I really hope Capaldi will still be around for whoever we get next. And, you know, in the meantime that this was just a fluke where Twelve will grow into himself. I’m not holding my breathe, but hopefully?

i love capaldi i think he's good actor stuck with a terrible script and yeah 12.....basically sherlock and 11's demented love child of moffat :(((((((((((((

i also disliked the fact that clara was....idk i cant quite word it right but the 11 basically manipulated her to stay with 12, like clara was clearly uncomfortable with 12  bc 12 was being a giant douche and abandoning her when she was in mortal danger and stealing (? we will never know if he actually bartered or just outright stole) the homeless person jacket clara has a right to her own life (just like when martha realized she didnt want to stick around with the doctor forever and the doctor let her go cause its the right thing the doctor would do) and it feels super creepy that the doctor knew of clara's obvious attraction to 11 and played that up so she would stay with 12

moffats going for a "less than human" doctor ok but you can't do creepy things like that and then gloss over the fact that what the doctor does is wrong and have then go off to drink coffee and whatever as if its ok. its not quite gaslighting like in sherlock s3e1 but its clearly moffat writing problematic things again without addressing the fact that it is problematic
