i love hammerspace sm but im such a sucker for specifically one sided. i won't ever forget subspace being an asskisser to ban to stay out of trouble

i can see subspace getting a crush because ban is scary and powerful. quite literally could crush him like a bug under that hammer. and if subspace got with him maybe he could get away with more shit. obviously he has better things to worry about -- like, you know, not dying -- but i think itd plague his mind. he designs a biograft to protect someone and fully unintentionally designs it after banhammer and has a meltdown over it later. he blushes behind that mask when ban is on the same team as him in phights (ik they arent canon but leave me alone /silly) and seeing him absolutely maul someone on the other team. trying to nudge the other into working together a bit more closely during phights because they'd have great synergy -- yep, thats the only reason why, definitely not an excuse to trail after banhammer, nope, not at all. and ban doesnt care -- why would he? hes a demideity, he has better things to be doing than think about romance. but that doesnt mean he wouldnt notice. he would SO taunt subspaces ass about it. hed never directly say "do you have a crush on me?" but its like when a drop of blood gets in the water near sharks: He can't help but want to take a bite. make subspace purposefully fumble and eat shit during a match because its funny to him. and subspace cant help that dammit, even when hes being an asshole hes hot. even though hes pissing him off by treating him like dirt he cant help but blush and growl. and this just continues until ban gets disinterested and stops giving subspace attention and subspace stuffs the feelings in a box to never be seen ever again
