I explain 6 six out of the 19 songs in my playlist, First to Ten by Literal Hat, All I Need by Radiohead, Another Cup by bunnycat, Dear Pet Rock by tv room, Bounce by fingerspit(+Minecraft), and Run Rabbit by Mollie Elizabeth, in that post! Some have more writing to them then others but those were the ones that kinda stood out to me?

I'll try my best to go through the others in this post!! :3

Bad Dog by Chumbawamba, Is a song that is so strange and so good to me, very obsessed with it and what i feel tends to be the message of being used. I actually think this song is VERY bf!nom core alone but i think it's also very bf!4c aswell, maybe even both together :] they share it. I think the repetitiveness of the lyrics and how they can be heard can, imo, be seen as the constant being told what to do and being used again and again by people who see you as less then human/sentient being.

Imposter Syndrome by Sidney Gish, is probably in most bf!4c playlists, it stands out to me as a song about not really fitting in, in seeing yourself and being seen by others as something non-human or in this case, less then sentient. I think there's also that vibe of mistrust in your own actions, of not thinking yourself good at things. Aswell as the implied messing up and not knowing how to really,, fix things? or be better because this is all you know how to do. If that makes sense.

November by Sparkbird, I'll admit it, i think this song being there is mostly influenced by my friend, Nea, who also has it in their playlist, but otherwise, something about it and it's lyrics speaks to me as very bf!4c, despite me not fully having words on it. I think theres something to be said here about the experience bf!4c has with bf!frogue and the whole non-consent of the situation between them.

Body by Mother Mother, is another song that's probably on most bf!4c playlists but i do think it has reason lol. Alltho i find bf!4c's discomfort in being a slime and the fact there's no others around, he's surrounded by mostly humans/elfs(or just humanoids like them, depending on how you see certain characters), and thus not liking being one, as mostly fanon, tho i think it does have weight. I often think of bf!4c as slightly exhausted with all the suffering he's been put through, the constant hit after hit with very few moments in between to provide comfort and healing makes things,, hard to deal with, sometimes you wish it would just change.

Looping the Rooms by rusino + Hastune Miku, I think it's clear by now i think very often about the cycle of pain and suffering bf!4c is constantly put through, it's like the reason half if not most of the songs are here... lolol. This is another one, bf!4c is put through things, again and again and again, and also i think there's something to be said about how often he's been made to change environments, or living spaces because he isn't welcomed or doesn't fit in, or just needs to run.

The Moon Will Sing by The Crane Wives, a, imo, bounty duo song mainly, Very them core imo. I think it could especially be considered a, how Nom effects 4c's self worth, and how 4c often judges his self worth on what Nom thinks of him. "I shine only with the light you give me". they make me ill.

Harpy Hare by Yaelokre, Imo, for bf!4c, Blue kingdom is kinda a cage, he was brought there by bf!Nom and doesn't really have a way to leave without losing the protection Nom provides him. He is isolated from his past communities. It's Nom that's kinda keeping him here, whether either realize it or not. Nom also has a level of control over 4c, a level of power that he does kinda use against 4c, I don't think nom ever realizes this but he does still do it without realizing i think. Harpy Hare has alot of lyrics implying a type of isolation, i think in the song it's parental but i, am ignoring that. A vibe of being trapped where you are.

Easier by The Crane Wives, is also a song i think is mostly here because i heard it on my friend, Nea's, Playlist and went "ya,,, ya that's 4c,," I can't really give a personal definite reason, it just feels very,, 4c,, in it's lyrics and vibe. I think the vibe of wanting a better life, a better future, while also being put through thing after thing that makes you suffer. I think there's also something there about 4c and Nom and how they are to eachother but ya

Lovers by Kiltro, was mostly put in out of Vibes if i remember correctly! I think there's something to be said about the vibe in the lyrics of someone being gone. This one lowkey might get taken out from the playlist because of it's more romantic implication? but i don't fully think it NEEDS the romantic implication to work as bf!4c core. and I never really saw it as heartbreak in that way, Despite the name. so? eh.

Now That You're Gone by The Raconteurs, was Originally put in because it felt very, vibes after bf!4c was forced out of blue. I like to think of it as switching between different peoples feelings and emotions on the matter. People MISS him, especially characters like Nom and Mae. Who will be with them now that he is gone. But i think this song could also have some say in post-bannerfall after Nom dies! and 4c's emotions about it.

I'm Sorry I'm a Monster by Trickle + Tikaal, The feeling of not fitting in, of being different, of being bad because you're different, of just not getting things in the way others do. Wow who would've guessed. I think also that underlying want for love and acceptance and apologizing for your wants and needs.

Waltz in E-Major, Op.15 "Moon Waltz" by Cojum Dip, Is definitely one that is in because of mostly Vibes and me associating it with the Masquerade! I'm also a big fan of the lyric "A Wise women said I'm alive, nobody's ever told her she's wrong," "---" "I'm as alive as her beard is long!" as being something relating to 4c and mae or 4c and katie, in how they see him and how he see's himself.

Labyrinth by Miracle Musical + Shane MauX + KAYE, makes me straight up think of bf!4c in hell, with the Rogue God taunting him the entire way. I think it's the most straight forward of the songs, it's quite literally(as far as i can tell) about being trapped.

And that's all 19 done! 6 in the original and 13 in this!!

I actually have a bf!4c playlist fun fact!! it currently has 19 songs in it and is just over an hour, i always have a hard time with making character playlists cause i like making sure a song DEFINITELY feels like the character to me, or actually relates to them in some way in my brain, so it's not the longest bf!4c playlist, but it's mine :]

I could explain why every song is on there and i could if wanted but i doubt u want my explanation on all 19 songs LOL, So i'll pick quite a few that stand out especially to me and explain those :3

First to Ten by LiteralHat is the first song on the playlist, I'm a very big fan of it and personally think the lyrics can be seen as straight up scenes of 4c's story in bf. "She said it's not my fault, that it all fell down" is the first line in the song, and the bit that come in it gives very Katie to 4c about the whole situation about Katie finding out about the Oath. I think the whole song feels very, 4c about Nom core, but also just in general about blue kingdom! "Til i come down, or until you drown, cause you're, all i have left in this town" is a lyric that also stands out to me, 4c views himself as really only having Nom keeping him in blue, if he didn't have him there, he wouldn't be there. If Nom left, 4c would too, at least thats how i view it. 4c follows Nom.

All I need by Radiohead is SUCH a 4c and Nom song, it's actually crazy. I wrote on my priv twt about it once because it was actually so them to me. I've had animatic ideas for this song for so long PFFT "I'm an animal trapped in your hot car" 4c stuck in blue, He's the animal, blue kingdom is Nom's hot car, does that make sense. "You are all i need" "You're all i need" "I'm in the middle of your picture" 4c and Nom's lowkey dependency on eachother, Nom on 4c for his mental stability and 4c on Nom for protection. "I am a moth who just wants to share your light" Idk if other people felt this but bf!4c idolizes Nom in his head, in some way or another. Nom is his light at some point. bf!4c thinks lowly of himself, a moth gives nothing to the light, it just follows it, it surrounds it, orbits it even, but never is able to give anything to it. "I'm just an insect, trying to get out of the night" i think this might mostly make sense when it comes 4c and the swamps, and getting out of the dangerous situation of his bounty. "I only stick with you, because there are no others" 4c often views himself as ONLY having Nom in his corner, this stops later on when Mae is also obviously in his corner. To 4c for awhile, there was literally no one else. He also quite literally sticks with Nom through everything he can. The ending of that song has it going "It's all wrong" and considering all the above, i'd say this is when 4c realizes the whole katie finding out and how thing, and then when the whole uhh, nom murders and puts a bounty on him thing is. It then has a few, "It's alright" and again, considering everything above, This is 4c with katie, and red when he joins. He feels,, wanted. i'd say

Another Cup by bunnycat, I won't do lyrics for this one cause it can be pretty repetitive, but this song gives me very, 4c in hell core!

Dear Pet Rock by tv room, has a very happy esc vibe while having some kinda lowkey sad lyrics and i think thats bf!4c's vibe like, entirely lowkey "It's okay, it's okay, it's okay, you're okay, You've lived a million years, you'll make it through the day" even despite all the pain and suffering 4c keeps getting put through, he'll bounce back. "You're my rock -- You're my everything, my pet rock" I think this is kinda Nom to 4c, 4c has become his rock through it all, his emotional support. Nom leans on him for that. "and i don't know where, it went wrong, I'm just glad were still friends" can i say, mayhaps Mae and 4c. Friends through it all, even with the hardship they're both facing. "you/i feel lost, don't know what to do, is it my fault, that you feel it too" 4c on accidently "telling" katie about the whole oath thing "I'd end it all, if it wasn't true, you need me, like i, need, you." jingle jingle jingle that dependency that 4c and nom have with eachother. Also, raises hand "I should have dies in the swamp that day" i kinda see 4c as lowkey suicidal, tho more passive then active in any way.

Bounce by fingerspit(+Minecraft), this is entirely because it's called bounce, i just think that should be noted, i think it's silly.

Run Rabbit by Mollie Elizabeth is once again, SUCH a 4c song in my eyes, and the newest addition, fun fact, i'm so inlove with this song,, animation ideas are rampant for it,, pfft. The song is, if my research is correctly, straight up about being in an abusive home and escaping it. Also rabbits. hey did u know bf!4c is so rabbit core. "You best be bashed around the bush once or twice" 4c's rough childhood(or implied rough childhood) and ALSO the depths "before you get to taste the finer life" the finer life of being trusted after succeeding in the depths. "My mother taught me, gotta just survive" it's implied the swamps for dangerous, and the depths definitely were. Just gotta survive, make it another day. "Oh, forgive me lord, oh, i'm a good girl" Could be said towards multiple instances but throughout the song i tend to view it as being 'oh, forgive me' "lord" as, general, rogue god, and nom. "I'd never hurt a fly" in general 4c is very passive, he seemingly doesn't like hurting others and doesn't kill "but i've got walls to climb" the depths, hell, blue kingdom, and escaping them separately. "You put me in this house, i had to claw right out" 'you', his family(Assumingly), rogue god, nom. the house being the 3 settings i mentioned above. He had to claw out and escape the depths and hell, and i feel for the blue kingdom/nom one it's more mental then physical, considering he was 'kicked' out instead of leaving willingly. "Run rabbit, Run Rabbit" hey guys 4c is so rabbit core, did u know this. you should know this, believe it, it's true. anyways. I often view him as prey and he is often forced to run away from situations. "Gift granted, you've gone rancid" could also be multiple things but i often view it as the gift of nom saving him and how nom killed him when he found out 4c minorly lied to him 'gone rancid' "I never knew another way of life" 4c is often put in constant cycles of suffering and having to deal with it. "My father told me gotta just survive" I often view this 'father' as the rogue god, mostly cause of what is said next. "You drink the poison, got to pay the price" Rogue god and Hell, you know how it is!! "What does not kill you, never repairs" Fun fact i headcanon 4c has having a scarred area of his head after being killed by Nom, it never fully repairs because he isn't able to let it heal properly. but also, TRAUMA! the trauma 4c has from what he's been put through never leaves him. "What does not kill you, gives you never ending Nightmares" basically same thing as above but also, i think he would have nightmares of the many events of his life, lowkey. This song is so bf!4c core i love it sm ommgg. also it's rabbit. hey guys did u know 4c is so rabbit core. he so bnuny

Oh i have wanted to talked about this quite abit,, what a joyful ask to receive, i squealed in happiness lololol

Both 4c and Mae don't really see anything wrong with stealing. or well, stealing from larger corporations, 4c does it way less then mae, in fact, i'd even say 4c almost never actually does it, but he is an accomplice to Mae. If Mae wants something, 4c will help her get it if he's needed. They are stealing from walmart, from large scale gas stations, they're stealing from target. It's also very lowkey, they don't do it that much, Mae definitely did it more as a teen then she does now, and 4c probably didn't steal at all as a kid, other then the jokes his family would do(Jokingly stealing something. Thats something they did.)

While Mae mostly indulges in thievery, 4c trespasses on private property. Only abandoned property but still private property(and public property to be fair). He's an explorer, he goes anywhere he can excess and doesn't really care if it's illegal, if no ones using it or living there, if it seems abandoned completely and not being worked on, he's going to look around. He will also take photos. He's a photographer and LOVES taking photos of places like the ones he explores. He's big into adventuring and often Mae will come along. and sometimes Katie will, Nom does very rarely but definitely can't keep up with them so tends to not lolol. Shan will eventually also come explore with 4c later on i'd bet :3

Other then that, if we only count their adult lifes, both of them have really only done those two crimes. Tho they have done it quite abit.

Nom has been to jail, tho he really only talks about it in a joking fashion, so other then 4c, no one actually thinks he actually has been in jail, he jokes, he plays! no one can fully tell when his jokes have slight truths to them,, He was only in it for a couple weeks before getting let out on bail tho. The reason he was kinda in jail is also the reason he was let out. If you want to know the charges. It was assault and battery. It was the only time he was caught.

4c has not been to Jail :]
